Questions & Answers
Any side of the tank can be sat on.
A 1- 1/2" MPT should fit on the 1-inch tube without a problem. 1/2" FPT connection. You'll have to cut the seal out of the fitting, but it's a simple process. I went with the first option. The fit is perfect with a 1/2" fill port fitting and a PVC threaded fitting.
You have the option of drilling new holes and gluing new connectors as needed. Keep in mind that you won't have access to the tank's interior and won't be able to use connectors that require a bolt through the wall.
On the side of the tank, there are three 1/2 female holes and one that might be 1 inch, but I'm not sure. The 1 inch is definitely sealed, while the three 1/2 are open.

We built a kitchen in the trunk of a Toyota Sienna camper van. There is a small sink with a manual faucet in the kitchen. Two tanks were required: one for fresh water and the other for gray water. For our small camper, the 5 gallon capacity is ideal. We were very pleased with it - Until we noticed that the fresh water had a bad plastic odor and taste. It was fine for the first two trips, but on the third trip, it developed a foul plastic taste that hasn't gone away. br>br>I should point out that we've only gone out on weekend trips and have always drained the tanks as soon as we got home. It wasn't exposed to direct sunlight or anything else that I could think of that could have caused the change. We experimented with both tap water and water from a bottle - same effect =/br>br>It's a shame because, aside from the taste, the tanks are ideal: small, sturdy, and well-made. br>br>I'm giving them two stars because they're not the best at what they do. The tanks can be used to provide drinking water. However, I cannot recommend purchasing these tanks for use as fresh water tanks.
What a sturdy, well-built little tank. There isn't even a trace of a footprint. We'll be able to secure it in either direction, and the weight won't be a problem. This will be ideal for our needs. The sizes of the fittings are standard; This isn't some obscure, hard-to-find component. This purchase has really impressed me.
Is there anything else I can say?
Junk.
It was designed specifically for my husband's camper and fits perfectly. Thank you so much, Amazon! Shelly Luke is a writer who lives in the United States.
This little tank is even better than I expected. Strongly constructed, with thick plastic and a variety of piping options.
I used this as a reservoir for my hydronic floor heating system, which is closed loop. The level in the tank is easily visible.
Great tank for the price! Fittings and glue were a little sloppy during assembly, but it works fine and the dimensions are correct.
