My order for Shurflo 4008 was placed in the month of February From 101 to I replaced my old pump with an E65 after it burned The package arrived in a few days and came with instructions and connections from Shurflo. The service and delivery at Lake View have been excellent. We installed in 30 minutes, but if the mounting screws hidden in the back of the cabinet hadn't been there, we would have needed less time. I bought a Shurflo 2088 fresh water pump for my RV after its previous pump failed There are 554. I could not believe how loud that was! That pump has been removed and replaced by this one. There is very little noise coming from this pump. The system is not surged during the process. The result is very satisfactory to me.

UPDATE it never worked right. I have updated As a result of an email I sent to the company, the pump is being replaced. Hopefully the one I just got was a lemon, and the new one will be fine. The pump I bought from a friend was supposed to be a great on-demand pump and would be ideal for my rain barrel irrigation project. However, I have never been able to get it to work. Even after the water pressure was shut off, the pump continued to run. A toggle switch defeated the purpose of an on-demand pump, so I had to rig one up. I used it for 6 weeks, and after that I just sputtered out water after I used it three times a week. As I see it, what you pay for you get.
