In order to fix the macerator pump on my RV's black water tank, Camping World charged me over $250. With this kit, I was able to fix the problem for just $35. dealing with a black water tank was not a pleasant job, but we've all changed diapers at one point or another, so you're not totally out of It took only a few minutes to replace the impeller. On our recently purchased used RV, the macerator pump was running, and the gray tank was being emptied. However, there was no fluid being moved. To extract the pump from the bowels of the service bay, I had to work hard and found that it had likely been winterized prior to my arrival or someone had used a drain cleaner with an impeller softening solution that essentially melted the I used an impeller kit which did the job perfectly, and I reinstalled the rebuilt pump in a different location which would make service and winterization of the RV much easier.

The gasket is cheap and flimsy, but the water pump works

This item looks like it will fall apart just from looking at it, and it is difficult to install without ripping it even As thin as a flimsy foam, it feels very fragile. Buying cheap is a good deal.

There was a Thrtford # 62- stamped on my macerate pump From 5800 to I am 6004" This is an actual Shurflow 3200-E Emptying the RV holding tanks is what I use it for. My impeller was damaged due to wear and tear, and I needed this to repair it. A DIY change out is very easy with this kit as it comes with the necessary gaskets and instructions. You should be able to change it in under an hour.
