Take a look at their respective blogs. The eco has more posts, while the t-shirt has a smaller one. Stat wires aren't going to work.
Yes, it is appropriate for that model.
I frequently replace these because they are a good and inexpensive place to start.
It comes with two thermostats that are identical. One of each of the small and large pins is required for the heater. I believe these are two small pins of only one size.

My thermostat needed to be replaced because it was broken. The ECO was still in good shape. I ordered this kit, but when I installed it, I discovered that the new thermostat's pins were the wrong size. They should usually be smaller than the ECO to avoid accidentally putting them in the wrong place. The only difference between the thermostat and the ECO is that the thermostat has a 60 on the back and the ECO has an 82. In addition, the pin sizes should be different, with the ECO having a larger pin size. The connectors on the heater's wires are different sizes, again to prevent them from being mixed up. The thermostat's larger studs required me to bend the connector pins. I didn't come up with the best solution, but it worked for me. Additionally, the kit's pictorial depicts two different overlay styles. One is offset, and the other is in a straight line; my kit was the latter, which was fortunately correct for my installation.
This unit was perfectly described. Taking out the old ones and replacing them is a difficult task. The videos need to be fixed because they appear to be simple. You'll need to be patient. There is only one more issue. The thermostat and the ECO units are not identified in the written instructions. Two numbers, a "60" and an "82," can be found on the back of the card. The thermostat is set to 60 degrees, and the ECO setting is set to 82 degrees. The fault light will turn on if you mix them together. I did, and a technician was dispatched to my campsite RV. He jumbled them up as well. He had every right to be worried. When I was watching a YouTube video about them, I discovered what they were up to. Although I only watched five or six of them, one of them mentioned the 60/82 mix. The water heater now works perfectly after I switched them to the proper side. Another thing I've learned in my life. This information must be included in the instructions by the seller. I wouldn't have needed to purchase three sets if they had done so!.
Check the numbers on the buttons to make sure they're correct. The ECO and T-Series are two different types of ECO and T-Serie The ECO is rated to turn the heat off at 180 degrees Fahrenheit, while the T-Series is rated to turn it off at 200 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature is currently at 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Make sure they're not in the wrong order.
I'm relieved that the RV now has hot water. My husband set it up and it's working perfectly.
Everything went smoothly. Using the instructions provided, my 12-year-old installed it with ease.
I've got a new-to-me-thing going on. The manuals for my 1998 Four Winds Majestic were missing. I'm new to RVs, but I have a lifetime of full-time RVing experience. Nomadic living is a way of life in which people move around from place to place The hot water heater on the Beast used to work when it wanted to, not when I wanted it to. The ignitor would come on with a click and a roar when I flipped the switch, but would click off as soon as the ignitor was turned off. I had to do a lot of research to figure out what was causing the issue, but I was able to narrow it down to these components. Using a pair of needle nose pliers, I swapped them out in a matter of minutes, and when I flipped the switch, everything was as it should have been. (It's a good idea to think of something like this. ) When you're ready to work on your water heater, turn it on from the inside and unplug the unit from the control panel by the heater. You can then test your work by simply plugging it back in from the outside. )br>br>Bottom line: If your water heater isn't working, these are likely to solve the problem. It's very simple to set up, even for a complete novice.
Installing it was a breeze. Our RV's issue has been resolved. The temperature was uncontrollably high and would quickly rise to dangerously high levels. It now takes longer to reach the desired temperature and maintains it.
