Thank you. I did sell the 5th wheel on which it was installed, so I am not sure.
An ignition coil from this igniter requires that the 12v be boosted to high dc just as a spark plug from an automobile does. It uses a coil to boost the 12 volts on the ignition board, because it uses a basic ignition system
The water heater I installed mine in was the Sw6del model from 2017. In my case, I have propane and electricity. It is not clear what serial number this is.

My Chinook RV's 6 gallon water heater was broken, so I started looking for a new one. At the time, I was planning to spend about $500 on it. It was a little different in the way it was mounted and the way the pins pointed (these pointed up or down, the old one pointed sideways) but after a little macgyvering (a good 30 minutes worth), I got it mounted and started The price of $14 versus $10. A 500-dollar sum. I think you got a good deal there.
I called the RV dealer and they wanted $24 bucks. It would take a week for the part to arrive. I then went to Amazon, and the part was half the price. Great find. As soon as I received the part (in two days), it immediately started working and I have had plenty of hot water since then.
Exactly the same as the original. When I double-checked the electrode gap, it was exactly 1/8 inch as it is specified. The installation process is simple.
After reading a few forums, we decided to order this part as part of troubleshooting a water heater issue in our 261BHXL Forest River Cruise Lite travel trailer. The part was delivered as promised and fit into place without any issues.
I bought this to replace it. As for my board, I should have checked it first. It was fried, but I managed to install it in 2 seconds so I kept Replacing the board (dinosaur UIB is recommended) made the water heater fire up right away. This part worked just fine for me even though I didn't need it.
I lost my water heater by just closing it without any warning. When it finally started it would just click as if it were trying to start, but after a couple of tries it would shut off by itself. It must not have been getting any spark otherwise it would not have let any gas escape. After I got this electrode, I replaced it in about 1 minute, and the water heater immediately fired It's a whoo hooo.
The product seems to be well made and has worked well so far.
This is my experience, so I thought I'd share it with you. I was camping the other day and tried to fire up my water heater, but it would ignite flames, fire up, and then shut off after about 5 seconds. I lost the electric spade that had been attached to A flame detector and an ignitor are shown here. Flame detection was not working on the old electeode. It's a very simple fix, just tighten up one screw and hook the wire back on. Just be careful not to break the spade. This 5-minute fix will fix you up. I hope this helps someone else as well. Now that I'm online again, I'm back in business!.
