As I was installing, which is not an easy task with the way Suburban designed their SW6D water heater, I pushed the reset and the rubber tab pulled all the way through, which may have been the only problem with the one I was replacing, but I had already discarded it.
I've got the perfect water heater for my suburban home. Please take note. It has the same part number as my original cover, which is 090467, and so does the replacement I A 3 out of 5 because the gasket is not included. It is just stupid not to replace it, which makes no sense.

After a long search, I finally realized it was my old thermostat that was causing my hot water heater not to work. As a result of this replacement, the problem is resolved.
This cover was replaced with a new one when I upgraded to a new thermostat switch on my Suburban water heater. The new cover is a perfect replacement for the old one. As well as this, I used a gasket 070987.
I thought that if I were replacing the switches behind the cover, I might as well replace the cover as well.
I found this to fit on the original Suburban water heater and work well.
