You can fit it through a door that is 24" wide pretty easily because it fits flat

There are no arms to this chair, but it has a fold-up cup holder in the middle

Is it necessary to mount it far enough away from the wall?

About 2" would be my guess. The back rest is allowed to travel just far enough to reach its Depending on what you want, it may be more than that.

This is more of a sleeping bag than a sitting one

All in all, the Jackknife couch arrived in a bit of a tattered state on delivery, but in general it was okay. It surprised me that it didn't come with legs, as all the pictures show legs, and this is my first time ordering from this website I didn't see any documentation that stated otherwise on the Amazon store site. * It installed relatively easily, and the seat is really comfortable. Whenever it is in that position, the "bed" has a hump in the middle, suggesting that this is more of a seating piece than one for sleeping. As the seat is turned to the side, you can feel the fold down armrest/drink holder. It is possible to feel the ungulations in the seat when lying on the bed. There is a possibility of mitigating the bumps with a three-inch foam cover. It was not clearly stated that the legs were not included in the purchase, which would have earned me more stars. As the summer nights have been extremely hot, it has been impossible to sleep in the loft of my tiny house during those times. So, I purchased this more for its bed than for the couch.

There is no way to attach the legs to this sofa! It costs $110 to purchase each separately! The reason I gave this sofa 5 stars was the incredible customer service provided by Amazon, and, of course, the very nice sofa itself

Amazon gave us a credit and a little more as a gesture of goodwill. The Thomas Payne customer service representatives told me that they ship these without legs, due to the fact that they will commonly be installed on wood platforms. In the description on their website, there is no mention of this. Knowing that these legs are separate means you don't have to worry about them. It remains to be seen whether Amazon's description will.

This couch arrived without legs, so I want to know where they are. The couch is beautiful, but it leaves an unpleasant impression with its lack of.
