In both of my bedrooms, there are skylights which make it almost impossible to sleep after sunrise. This brownish color made me decide to create a window treatment from cardboard boxes. When I saw these rods, I was inspired to make a window covering. are used to hold the cardboard pieces in place, and they serve as a perfect way to block the morning sun from showing through the skylights of my home. As a result of how well they work, I plan to make a more attractive sunblock covering for the windows that will include these as well. There is a great deal of tension, and I love that there are three in a set. Everyone is sleeping better! I know that this is a strange use for tension rods, but I think everyone is! It is most likely that I will be purchasing more of these rods in the future.
The accessories made for RVs are one of my favorite purchases - though I do not have one myself. The most useful thing ever! Yes, that's right. My sister has an RV, but I admire accessories made for RVs because I am able to use them in so many ways! Because they are made with wood, they are awesome. Design is appealing to me. The bars are used by me as stopper bars at the bottom of shelves in my craft room to prevent things from rolling off. As well as in the kitchen, I use them to separate cutting boards and cookie sheets vertically. Originally, I bought the white ones, then I bought one and spray painted it with Oil Rubbed Bronze spray paint by Rustoleum here on Amazon. Their looks are great! As a weird sort of thing, I recently decoupaged another set.
As they appear to be so inexpensively made, I hope they will hold up.
Having a nice price point with a reasonable shipping time frame, it came with nice packaging. There is one notable difference the ends of these tension bars are made of hard plastic, Are you asking what the big deal is? As a matter of fact, if you buy these with the intention of securing items in place in your cabinets as they are packaged, these are completely ineffective. Due to the hard plastic, they do not hold up well on any surface and with any amount of pressure/weight placed against them, they will slip and fall apart. These are not the bars you purchased for the one purpose behind which they were ordered. It is important that rubber feet/ends help them grip in order to do what they are designed to do in the first place. I will go to the hardware store to get some rubber feet for them. The rubber ends would have easily given these five stars, but not having the rubber ends just makes them pretty colored metal bars, not tension bars, and therefore receiving just 1 star for not being able to do the one thing they are supposed.
It is a good piece of equipment, but we shouldn't overextend it because of the risk of damaging No matter how long I tried, I couldn't make the item.
It is flimsy. Even when only partially extended, the legs are flimsy. We were unable to keep our items secure in the RV refrigerator while traveling.
The solar panels work, but they appear to be rather flimsy as is typical for camping As well, the plastic end caps tend to glide around very easily, so they're not always where they're supposed to remain. You might want to consider using rubber end caps to keep them in place.
Turning allows you to fit to size and it.
