Leisure LED 5 Pack RV LED Ceiling Double Dome Light Fixture with ON/Off Switch Interior Lighting for Car/RV/Trailer/Camper/Boat DC 12V 48X2835SMD (Frosted Lens Natural White 4000-4500K, 5-Pack)

Installed as a direct replacement for the factory incandescent lights on a 2013 North Trail. The light is dispersed beautifully by the frosted lenses. These lights, unlike the originals, have a switch that allows you to run one or both sides. The lights in the factory were simply switched on. off. I also like how these use a lot less electricity than the old lights did. All five of them functioned flawlessly right out of the box. I'm going to get a 5 pack more of these to finish the trailer. There are a total of ten overhead lights in the room. as well as a couple of "single" fixtures I haven't made up my mind about who will take their place. If any of them fail, I'll update this review, but for now, I strongly suggest them!.

I bought the five pack and liked them so much that I ordered four more to finish the job. br>In an RV, I had to replace 12" fluorescent ceiling lights. br>The light is white, but not in the sense that it is 'cold' or 'blue. ' Those who are displeased with light patterns should be aware of the following: Make certain to order the frosted lens version. The lenses have no light patterns on them.
. br>Each unit comes with four screws and two wire nuts; I used my own because I had a padded ceiling and larger wires to connect to, but what is provided would suffice in most cases. There are also eight mounting holes in case you require them. Because the fixtures aren't particularly heavy, the outside four were sufficient for my needs.
. br>The switch function is one side is off, one light is on in the middle position, and both sides of the light are on in the opposite position. br>For sanity's sake, I made sure they were all mounted in the same place, so that pressing the switch towards the back of the trailer activates both lights. The units, on the other hand, are symmetrical and can be mounted in any direction.
. br>These, in my opinion, provide better light, use less energy, and have a slightly lower profile than the old fluorescent units. br>The lenses come with a protective plastic that you peel off during installation to prevent scratches. The lenses are flexible enough to allow the tabs to be inserted to lock them in place, but they have a solid feel to them and appear to stay put. There is no flickering or radio interference that I can see.
. br>I haven't had them long enough to comment on their durability, but so far they've provided adequate lighting at a reasonable price, and they shipped and arrived on time.

I have a toy boat that is 26 feet long. I put these in a tow truck. My old incandescent lights were awful, and they drained the battery in under an hour. They were so draining on the battery that I had to turn off every other light fixture, resulting in even poorer lighting. br> I "upgraded" to LED bright-light bulbs. I was disappointed by the lights' inability to provide adequate lighting in my trailer, which was made worse by the fact that they were white bulbs. Even when compared to incandescents, the white light was like that of a surgical room, but it was still dim. br>Take a look at these LED lights from Leisure. I placed an order for ten double-decker buses. lights, but I started with just one to ensure that these would be the upgrade I was looking for. I could tell right away that these were superior in every way and provided incredible lighting. I couldn't be happier with how much light I have now that I've installed all the lights (which was a simple process by the way), and I still had a full battery bar after 4 hours of using all the lights in the trailer. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

They use a fraction of the energy as well. The old double dome incandescent lights drew a whopping three amps. Each one has a current of 0 volts. These LED lights only use a fraction of a watt. 6 amps. This will reduce the amp draw and allow my power converter to operate at a higher temperature. If I'm dry camping, it'll also help to reduce the load on the battery. In addition, LED lights are significantly cooler than incandescent lights. br> When I installed the second light, it only illuminated one side. br>Believing that I had received a faulty light, I took it down and examined the wiring. It has a three-position switch, which I discovered. The first position only rotates one side. The position in the middle is incorrect. Both sides are turned on in the second position. That was not something I was aware of, and there were no instructions to that effect. If I'd known that ahead of time, I could have saved myself some time and trouble. The switches are a little stiffer than the old lights' two-position rocker switches, but I'm sure they'll loosen up with use. Overall, I'm pleased, and I've ordered five more to replace all of my travel trailer's interior lights with LEDs. Replacement LED panels are readily available in the event that the existing LED panels burn out. This has been a wise investment, and if you still have incandescent lights, I strongly advise you to switch to LEDs. You will notice a significant difference.

It was a perfect fit for my old lights. The outside housings were identical, and the screw holes were even aligned. It's very light and simple to set up. The leds provide excellent illumination and allow me to run them for long periods of time without worrying about my voltage. After reading reviews about clear lenses causing weird light patterns, I decided to go with the white lenses. The white lenses do not produce any strange patterns, but they do emit a lot of light. I 100% recommend replacing your old lights with these lights because they are great buys.

I installed these in our RV to replace old incandescent fixtures, and I'm very happy with them. I wanted a bright light and almost went with the clear lens, but after reading other reviews, I decided on the frosted lens, which I am glad I did. The fixtures are beautiful and provide the perfect amount of natural light. These were extremely simple to set up. br>br> Wire strippers, a Phillips screwdriver, a drill with a 5/16" drill bit, scissors, and electrical tape were among the tools I used. Because the connection only goes back into the wood panel ceiling, I felt more comfortable using a layer of tape to secure the basic wire nuts included. br>br>I'm glad I ordered an extra light because I miscounted my doubles. I upgraded from a single to a double lamp over the sink, and it looks so much better!.
