About ten of these were purchased by me. In an RV, I replaced all of the 12" florescent lights. It's a piece of cake to set up. Two wires are held in place by wire nuts and screws. Because the new units are much lighter than the old ones I pulled out, you could probably cheat if you had to, even though I had good anchor points for the screws. There are three positions on the switch: both sides are on, one side is off, and the other is on. Because the switch is mechanical, no matter how you set it, it will remain that way when you turn the RV light switches on and off. BUY THE OPAQUE LENS COVERS NOW. Of course, this is just my opinion, but I read reviews before buying it that complained about the strange light patterns it produces. Those were comments from people who had purchased the clear covers. I purchased the opaque "white" covers, and the light pattern appears to be fairly consistent. br>LED lights are built-in (not replaceable bulbs), but I've had them for a couple of years and they seem to be working fine; I'd buy them again.

A motorhome from the 1970s, with 43 years on the clock. Everything worked, but the light fixture covers were either cracked or melted, and the old bulbs were extremely hot to the touch. I bought the two-pack to give it a shot. These lights are so simple to put up that even Grandma could do it. Simply connect the two wires and secure it to the ceiling or wall with screws. The lights are bright and cool, and they won't drain my solar bank too much. I immediately returned to Amazon and placed an order for a five-pack of the smaller single lights. It really did brighten up every book and nook. The leds consume very little energy, allowing the daiquiri blender to use fewer amp hours. I would strongly suggest it.

If the back of the light was flat, I could have used doublesided tape or another non-adhesive method to install it. It's a high-impact material, but it's not flush, so nut/bolt hardware is the best option. The light's color is ideal, and it's two-dimensional. I like the mode light feature, and I would recommend these.

After blowing through a ten pack of LL incandescent replacement bulbs in less than three months, I tried replacing the incandescent bulbs with those individual LEDs, with disastrous results (dim as hell and strobing in less than a month). While looking for an alternative to hanging plugs, I came across these. I'm very impressed with the ability to see everything inside again as a result of the fixtures throughout the house.

These come in two styles, and I recommend getting the frosted lenses over the clear lenses - There's a lot more even light distribution now, and there aren't any annoying 'rays' all over the coach.

We have a 2013 RV with several burned-out ceiling fixtures. These LEDs were installed in place of the old ones. Oh my goodness, what a difference! No more heating up, plus a brighter light with a three-way switch! We're going to use these to replace all of our lights. I'd buy from them again.

Quick shipping, but unfortunately both lights I received have the same problem and are defective; I've purchased these before, but it's strange that they're both broken.

These lights are absolutely stunning! They are much better and safer because they do not get hot. It's no longer necessary to change light bulbs every time you turn around. They are absolutely fantastic!.
