You could probably get away with a smaller fuse, but a 5 amp fuse is ideal. As a result, the wire must be capable of carrying at least 5 amps. The actual wire size, however, is determined by the length. 14 gauge is sufficient for lengths of less than 25 feet. For a 30-inch project, use 12 gauge. 40 feet, and up to 70 feet in 10 gauge. Take note of the following. Do not use solid wire; instead, use stranded wire.
I'm not aware of any, but I suppose you could frost your own lenses.
This product's description reads, "8. Mine are in our Pop Up, which is currently closed, but that sounds about right.
Wires are included. The length is about a foot. The light from these units, however, is a little unsettling. The brown streaks make everything look sloppy.
Selected User Reviews For Leisure LED 2 Pack 12V Led RV Ceiling Dome Light RV Interior Lighting for Trailer Camper with Switch, Single Dome 300LM
Much brighter than the LED bulbs I installed in my RV's original lights. It was simple to install, and the hole pattern matched the original lights, despite the fact that the light fixture itself was about 1/4" longer. As previously stated in other reviews, when the light shines on the counter or other living space, it leaves rings in the light. I installed this one over the sink, and I think I can live with it because it's so much brighter, but I bought some more of these lights, but they were the "double" light style for the rest of the ceiling lights, but I bought the ones with the white frosted lens, which eliminated the ring/shadow issue. I'll see what I can do about replacing the clear lens on this light with a frosted one.
I gave this light a four-star rating because I'm not a huge fan of white lighting. But that's just my opinion. These are excellent lights, and I'm growing accustomed to the luminous hue. These lights produce a lot of light - they're very bright. This is something I really enjoy. It is very simple to set up. I'm not sure why the wire colors are so different from what you'd expect. Instead of connecting black to black, the instructions say to connect black to white. The light was installed by me. It didn't work out. THEN I read the note on the small piece of paper that came with it, which stated that if it didn't work, I should swap the wires - It works fine with black to white, so it's not a big deal. I intend to buy more of these lights in the future.
It's pretty simple: remove the old one, pay attention to the wires (the fixture has a wiring guide sticker), connect the wires, and secure the fixture. br>br>Brighter than standard bulbs, with less heat and energy consumption. In the foreground is the new light, and in the background is the old light.
It's a little larger than I anticipated, but it produces good light and was simple to install. The pantry closet in our camper is nice, but there is no light above it. I hung it over the pantry and now have a clear view of everything.
The lumen output from these lights is very high. They're simple to set up and include all of the necessary components. I was taken aback by their brightness. I ordered two two packs by mistake and proceeded to install all four in my camper shell anyway. It would have sufficed with just two lights. When installed, the lights are also quite attractive.
It's simple to put together, and it even includes wire nuts and screws. I love that I can keep them running for three times longer without having to worry about my camper's batteries dying. The clear lense emits a lot of light, but it casts a strange pattern on the wall in the bathroom. At King of The Hammers, the company was fantastic and swapped out the clear lense for a frosted one at no charge. In my living room, I use clear lenses, and in my bathroom, I use frosted lenses.
The light is now much brighter and clearer. Except for holding his hands/arms in the air in the ceiling, my husband did all of the work himself. They don't get hot or emit any heat like the previous one did. These are significantly less expensive than anything else we could find.
The light was a nice addition to the lighting above the kitchen counter in our RV. Shipping was quick and packaging was excellent. Although it is larger than the factory-installed lights, we had enough space and it works perfectly. The light is a 12 volt LED that is brighter than factory installed lights and has a more user-friendly on/off switch. It's about 4 inches by 8 inches in size, and it's mounted on the bottom of the upper cabinets and works perfectly. This is a light that I would recommend and purchase again.
