No, the lamp was designed to work with a DC12V or DC24V power supply. It is not possible to connect it to AC120V directly. You'll need to add a power adapter that converts AC120V to DC12V for use in the home.

I installed two of these lights in the bunks of my travel trailer, and they are absolutely perfect. They're built to last. Their sturdy construction astounded me. The mounting ring fits snugly against the wall, and the set screw secures the light in place. There are two functions to the push button switch. The light is turned on and off by pressing and releasing the button quickly. The light will cycle through several dimming levels if you press and hold the button. A second switch on the top of the light bullet changes the light's color from white to red. It also includes a USB charging port that is easily accessible, and it's very simple to set up.
Because my old halogens were getting too hot in my Aft Birth, I replaced them with these. At night, I really like the red feature. If you need to hit the head at 3 a. m. , it's easier on the eyes. The only thing I don't like about it is that when my 12 volt system goes offline and then back on, the lights automatically turn on. These lights are comfortable to touch and have a nice appearance.
I was taken aback by the light. It feels sturdy and well-made; the metal is thick and substantial, and the lamp head rotates smoothly and without play. It's very bright. The red mode is ideal for use on the boat at night. I've already purchased a second one.
In a Catalina 30, these lights performed admirably. When you turn on the breaker, it automatically switches to the on position, which is fine for me. They look fantastic and appear to be fairly long-lasting. We'll see how long they last, as they've only been with us for a few weeks. It's also simple to put up.
