They require a 12V system to operate. On the website and in the box, it says so. When I first got the lights, there was a sticker on the box that said 12V only, so don't try to use them with 120 AC.
No bulbs. Light-emitting diodes are what they're called. They have a ten-year lifespan.
These are quiet and bright 10/10 in every category, thanks for a great product.

The difference between these and the lights in our 2001 coachman 31ft is night and day (literally). When only one light was turned on, it was significantly brighter than the single incandescent bulb that came with the RV, so when two are turned on, it's insane. We went with 4000k because it's "white" without being too blue or yellow. It was simple to set up. A sticker on the back of the light explained which wires go with which wires based on color. The hardware that came with it performed admirably. Some of the other kits on here have blue wire nuts with plastic internal threads instead of metal inserts to save money, but these had a metal insert like you'd find in a home (the plastic inserts are completely useless and do not grab the copper wire when you twist). A wire stripper (I have a fast stripper, but you can also use a razor blade or scissors), a screw driver (I have an impact driver, which made installation a breeze), and some double sided tape (optional) are the tools you'll need. The double-sided tape allows you to position the light fixture and press it into place before grabbing your screws and screwing it into the ceiling. It's a balancing act between your impact driver or screw driver, the screw, and the light if you don't have the double stick tape. Another option is to have someone assist you, but the tape will keep any rattling to a minimum while driving. I recommend these to anyone looking to increase the amount of usable light in their RV or boat by two or three times. Furthermore, because LEDs are so efficient, they produce no heat and use a fraction of the current that traditional bulbs do. In fact, when my air conditioner turned on, all of the lights dimmed for a brief moment due to the increased demand, but that is no longer the case! If you've been debating whether or not to upgrade your lighting, now is the time.
We decided to replace all of the lights in our RV with these WISH I DID IT SOONER after living full time in an RV for three years and being plagued by always having to find a flash light when looking for anything. They're about three or four times brighter than the factory-installed lights; it's like having daylight in the room at night. The fact that you can only use half of it is a huge plus. Previously, I could only have three lights on before my converter fan kicked on; now, I can have all fifteen lights on without the fan turning on. As a result, there is a significant reduction in the amount of power used. It was much easier to install than I had anticipated, requiring only a wire stripper and a Philips head, as well as 10 minutes for the initial installation. The only complaint I have is that after installation, I had to wiggle the led panel on two of them a little to get them to light up, but other than that, no issues. The second complaint is that the clear cover pattern leaves purple lines on nearby items. It's not a big deal, but it's something you'll notice with them, and you can just take off the cover to get rid of them. Hopefully, they will be able to produce plain clear replacement covers.
These lights are fantastic! They completely changed the atmosphere in the Camper (35' 5th wheel) for the better. Yes, the lenses cause some light lines, but I believe those who complain about them have unrealistic expectations. Allow them to spend $1,000 on whatever they desire. These lights are fantastic value for money. They produce a tremendous amount of light and are extremely simple to install. Please be careful when connecting them because they are polarity sensitive. I didn't have a single bad light, and everything I installed worked better than expected. I would highly recommend these lights and would purchase them again. I'll say it again: these are polarity sensitive. if you are aware of the distinction between positive and negative. It'll all work out in the end.
These are nice and bright, and the led cuts down on power consumption, but BEWARE - they are extremely bright. In the R, they cast an odd circular shadow. Which is inconvenient - I only discovered this after rewiring and installing the ten lights - Will have to live with it for the time being, but due to the strange shadowing, I would not purchase again.
I replaced all of the camper's old, out-of-date 2006 lights. These lights brighten up the inside of our camper trailer, and I would highly recommend them. Always test all electrical components before putting them in place. I had no problems with any of the ten lights I received and would purchase this item again for a future renovation project.
These are easy to put together, but instead of using the wire nuts that came with them, I used high-quality connectors and heat shrink. br>br>They are very bright and the lighting is the perfect color. It's a significant improvement over the dark blue-colored toy hauler I had before. In the incandescent fixture, use ish colored led bulbs. This purchase has made me very happy.
Easy too. It's a nice upgrade from my old 12V fluorescent thin lights. Brightness and lumens are much improved. It is simple to put together. On the install, keep an eye out for polarity. Red indicates hot and black indicates ground on the fixture. Black is hot in my RV, and white is the ground. Because the footprint was a little smaller than the old lights, I'll have to try fluffing the felt ceiling liner back into place to smooth out the lines. However, the brightness, as well as the instant on and semi-instant off features, The dimming feature (which allows you to turn half of the light off) is a nice feature. The ten pack was enough to cover my entire RV plus a few extras.
The lighting is fantastic. It is simple to set up. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the manufacturer (LEISURECW. COM) provides excellent customer service; when one of the lights in my order failed to function, they promptly replaced it. a phone call was made after that THAT IS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. In the future, I will always purchase this product.
