The following are the results of a review Air Filters for RV Air Conditioning, 6 Packs, 14 x 7 This 5 inch model was created to work with Dometic Duo. . . It's easy to use these replacement filters. The thickness is mentioned in other reviews as a problem with airflow. So far, this issue hasn't been a problem for me. Each one can be used again. my filter, I spray the hose on it and gently squeeze it until the excess water drains out. Next, I let it air-dry outside. As a result, the grille cover can be removed correctly with the cut outs for They are difficult to keep in place when closing the grill cover, which is one of my major dislikes. There are 2 tiny hooks on each filter that are supposed to hold it in place In order to solve the problem, I glued four pieces of command Velcro to the grille cover 2 on the front side of the grille cover that has cutouts and one on each side of the grille cover, This small part isn't blocking air flow, so I haven't had to deal with much frustration. The information is specific to the model of the HVAC system. This review is written by LynKin and I recommend this product.
These were to replace my old filters that were falling apart, but these are too dense and restricting air flow, thus stressing out the fan motor. So, I ordered a new filter from another seller for just a few dollars more that comes with two filters as well as the filter door. The filters I purchased were an exact match to my old ones, and the airflow is now adequate, and the computer seems to be running There seems to be no problem with these filters, but I am not sure if they were made for my a/c unit, so they didn't work for me. If they work for you, you may even enjoy them.
The ones I bought were for a dometic ac in a rv. However, they were much too thick and caused my unit to freeze over in the freezer and had to call a serviceman.
The Dometic filters are significantly thicker and denser than these filters. In doing so, they restrict too much flow and shorten the unit's cycle time.
The dust trap will keep our camper cleaner with that, I was very happy about that. Besides making the a/c less noisy, the unit is also quieter. There may be some airflow restriction due to this, but I recently installed new vents and cleaned the coils, so it hasn't caused any problems yet! There is no way to restrict the flow of air enough with a Merv 6 filter. The fit is perfect as well. These are the perfect compromise.
I still wash out the filter every time I go camping. It fits perfectly, is thick, and won't let dust and pollen into my RV air conditioning unit. It stays in place without bending or getting sucked into the air conditioner unit. I used industrial strength velcro too, and I secured the corners of the filter to the air conditioner cover. In order to order the 4 pack, please click here The RV is equipped with a few extra filters, so I can replace them as needed. My Amazon purchase of filters has been of excellent quality, I would not have expected this grade of quality. It has been a good experience.
Exactly what I was looking for! The originals are exactly the same! It is highly recommended that you try this product and business.
I have heard before that they're too thick but I think they're perfect.
