Screen doors come with this attachment, which mounts to the front. The OPEN LEVER will be towards the right side of the mounting mechanism, and so it will be a right hand Further, the best way I found to determine whether an RV is right handed is to see if the door swings open to the right of the RV. Those who open the door with their left hand are left-handed.
In the case I purchased and installed it, it was for a right-hand swing door (with the opener on the left and the hinges on the right looking at it I like that it is much sturdier than the original opener and has done an excellent job
There is no need to modify the existing part. Compared to the original, it is a little stronger and sturdier. My original was broken and I installed mine on a Sprinter 5th wheel to replace it.
Those who do are wrong, but when I installed mine, I drilled new holes, so it has worked flawlessly.

The RV producer installed a cheap product that wasn't nearly as sturdy. To replace, I was required to adjust the strike plate, which took a little over 10 minutes. The one you need can be purchased safely if you need one.
We believe the product does not do what it should. And having a door hook that holds the door handle down when the door is opened as well as not having to slam the screen against the door to make the door hook engage the handle is a challenge. As soon as I found another Amerimax latch I replaced this for the time it took me to find it and install it. The Amerimax will give you more satisfaction than anything else.
My Keystone camper trailer door latch was damaged, so I purchased this to replace it. The door latch claims to be stronger and better constructed than the previous latch, but it's so thick I could not close the entrance door of our travel trailer without slamming it hard, and the latch part did not stick far enough out to catch the door handle. I don't understand what it's all about. You shouldn't have any issues when replacing a similar latch, but you might want to reuse the screws that came with the old latch since the ones that come with the new product are too thin and fragile to do their job since they are supposed to stay attached to the My previous order for a product has been delivered. I hope it fits.
Having a screen latch on my RV fail after 15 years of use, I uploaded this picture to replace it. I learned too late, as many other purchasers did, that this item is 3/4 inches bigger than the one I ordered. I was not bothered by that at all. There was no cosmetic alteration to the installation and it took less than ten minutes to complete. As a replacement, this latch appears more durable and feels more secure than the factory latch is.
I had to reduce the diameter of the head so it could fit in the recess using a bench grinder. Without me doing this, the head would have been too tall, making it impossible for the door to close properly, because the heads would have hit the doors.
The handle on my door stopped working properly, so here is a replacement part for a few bucks. There's no way around it.
It was a very simple installation, I just reused my old screws that were used to mount my The whole process took no more than 5 If you notice that your screen door handle isn't working right, you ought to replace it.
A fair price and great selection of screen door replacement parts make the Miady line the best on the market.
I was satisfied with the price, ease of installation, and durability but found that it did not latch well, resulting in a 4-star rating. With some filling, it will be better, but there is not enough space between the door latch and the door for a lever to be attached to the screen. We have to push the lever out to latch it every time, though it does a lot more.
