Questions & Answers

The magnetic catch of our front door is difficult for my wife to pull open. The ropes are hard to pull, aren't they?

Despite this, you still have to pull with more force than usual since it is impossible for items in a cabinet or closet to force the door open while you are using the furniture. It doesn't seem difficult to open them, it just takes a little bit more effort than if they weren't inside

Approximately what dimensions does each piece have?

During the "product description" you will see a section entitled "Catch & Keeper Specifications" that contains a picture with accurate dimensions of the product

The part number 70435 of JR Products is the same as these?

My laptop's not the exact model, but I was able to work with it. Knowing what to look for is crucial because, without it, you won't know what to look for.

Can I double the weight of a door catch by putting two of these on it? Will the door catchers then weigh 10 pounds instead of 5 pounds?

If you use two of them, it will take about 10 pounds of force to open it. In order for forces to balance, they must face opposite directions at the same time. of force can be used to push open a door that is 10lbs in resistance. Although there are a few nuances depending on the location of the handle in relation to the two latches, as well as the way one latch releases before the other, they are minor in comparison.

Plastic latches have a rough feel to them
3/5

In this video, you can see a latch being used. In a nutshell, If you'd like to see and hear what these latches sound like when they're really installed, check out my video. It is important to note that while I have installed these on a converted bus, you could use them on any RV. A ship or a boat might be more suitable. The latches simply did not feel good to me, and I don't like the look of them either. I want to hear and feel a solid CLICK. You might not care about that, but I do. This type of connection offers a sort of raspy, gritty quality. There's just something about them that I find annoying. Yes, they are solid if installed properly. If you install them well, they work. Just the overall feel of them does not appeal to me. You can call me picky if you want. All I am saying is what I think honestly.

Replacement that is strong, reliable, and easy to install
5/5

Three of the original drawer latches in our 2018 RV broke on our first trip after we bought it about a month ago. It would have been easier to buy poor quality replacements from the manufacturer, so I bought Camp'N latches instead, and they worked well. Originally, there were latches of the same design, but the corners of the drawer side were sharp and fractured. These Camp'N latches have nice radiuses or chamfers, especially in the corners, which should make them more durable. Unlike steel, it is more durable and less prone to cracking. The time may come when I need to replace all of my door and drawer latches, so I will be using Camp'N latches for the replacement. This book is highly.

Latch that lasts for a long time
5/5

The latches out of these cabinets are the same as the ones in other drawers, doors, and cabinets, so I wanted to replace the rolled/wedge catches on my overhead cabinets with these ones. In transit, the roller latches on the doors are coming loose, and we need to tie bungee cords around them in order to keep them The latches have been shown to keep things latched in the past. Their strength and durability make them extremely valuable. To find out whether we can reach up and open the cabinets when fully latches, we will need to reach up and grab them. The latches on these doors are strong and keep the As stated, you don't have to fully engage the latch when the car is parked. If it is parked, the latch will latch on a sort of first catch, holding the door about half-open.

It has a big strike rather than a small one
4/5

In my RV, I have to replace these all the time. Having RVed for over 20 years, we know how to enjoy it. A latch strike can be found in two sizes. For example, if you order the larger latch strike, it comes with the 10 pound push latch (H316), while for the smaller latch strike, it comes with a In this package, we have the larger strike that I would normally associate with the 10 pound Both latches work with it, so you do not have to drill a new hole if you are replacing the smaller strike with these. If you are replacing the smaller strike with these, you will have to drill at least one new hole.

This rate is a failure In the 80s Ninety percent
3/5

There are 80-percent chances of this happening The way I installed the cabinet drawers and doors in my RV had a 90% failure rate. There are numerous types of bends, cracks, chips, chips, breaks, smashed, malfunctions, and straight. The plastic doesn't hold up well. It falls apart when you pick it up. The most annoying thing about them is that they display all kinds of advertisements I've never had a good experience with screws. It's difficult to install the screws because they don't fit well. am aware that there are not many catches available for RV cabinets at a reasonable price. It would be impossible for me to purchase these again, no matter how inexpensive they were. You won't be able to cope with I would like to point out that these are installed on professional custom cabinetry that is VERY straight and utilizes high-quality materials The slides are of a high quality. This is important to keep in mind since the catches were not under undue stress from mis-handling The cabinetry is out of alignment or damaged.

There is no C3 in this I guess it's 8003, because it's bigger
3/5

I do not believe this to be I guess it's 8003, because it's bigger. C3-A is a specific type of vehicle, according to South's website It is the smaller of the two push latches. We are dealing with the large ones here, not the small.

Simple to use- It is necessary to replace the This Forest River Latch is a replacement for the factory original
5/5

There are no visible differences in size, design, and marginal quality between the original factory drawer latch on our Forest River product and this one. A simple swap with factory screws will replace the existing screw holes on the female receiver.

Drawers can be held closed in one of two ways
5/5

As part of redoing a converted cargo trailer, I thought it would be useful to clean up the way the drawers fit I chose a crude way to hold the drawers in, despite how nicely they are made. As far as it looks and works, I seem to be an expert now. They are plastic, so have one spare or two in the camper in case you need them. I bought them because I know Airstream uses this or a similar product. It might be necessary to make spacers or something to install them.
