On to the track slides this piece, which is aptly named the "bubble." There can be a metal track as well as rubber "wipers" for the track. It is sealed. During my recent maintenance on my 2004 Cedar Creek 5th wheel, the wiper and a bubble part needed to be replaced.
Due to the Amazon free trial of prime for a month, I don't know how much the shipping cost was.

An used 2011 5th wheel was bought by our family A gummy or sticky seal was present on the slide. When that happened, it rotted. In April 2015, we replaced the old seal with the new one. For that reason, I gave it a rating of An exact replacement, it was easy to install, and there was no need to call a dealer for it. While performing routine roof maintenance, I noticed this seal was sticky, tacky, and dryrotted. Unfortunately, it looks like we will need to replace it again. I hate it! *My family owned a bumper tow with slide for over 7 years (and it was bought A seal has never needed to be replaced.
If you know how, you can do it on your own. The original can be removed and cleaned, but it won't cost you hundreds of dollars for someone else to do it for you. During the 4 hour cleaning, I finished installing the 13 foot top in 30 to 40 minutes and then moved on to 6 feet to finish. Next, I will caulk top of 5 sides. A simple cut and it slides on to older tracks without a problem. My second glider will require it, so I will order it again.
I am very happy with the packaging and the prompt shipping of the product! Thank you! There may be a slight difference between this product and what comes with most, it's an exact knockoff There's no power. of the item are close to the advertised measurements, although it is slightly smaller in every way. In this case, the only issue is the thinness of the rubber in the bulb area, which is only half the thickness of the initial rubber. As a result, there is "much" less sealing pressure, and the life span of the seal is probably shorter. For now, it appears to be working. However, I can already tell this will only be a short term repair that will only last a season and then leak.
This helped me stabilize the top part of my slide. It is 12 feet high. After I installed the wiper seals I had enough left over to complete the other side as well. That's what I put on the Salem Hemisphere for 2026. I was able to install it in about five minutes with some Dawn dish soap on the track and a second person to guide me as I pulled it into place. It's as easy as pie.
In a poorly written description, it does not tell you how long the material is, so you have customers asking how long it is, and then the other customers respond with the wrong answer, and no one notices the mistake. According to the description, the product has an adhesive backing and dimensions of 18 x 18 x 8 inches, but it has a 1" x 3/4" x 50'' size. The seals may not appear to be of the highest quality, but if they are in poor condition, this will serve you well.
Having to replace the seal at the top of the main slide out on our 2013 Rockwood Travel Trailer was a hassle. By removing the old seal, cleaning the track, cutting it a little longer than needed, and sliding it in from one end, I was able to slide in the seal the whole way. I was able to finish it easily. I trimmed it after it had been installed, and then I used a cabinet screw on each end to secure it.
They are easy to handle and can be cut into the desired lengths. Before putting in the seal, I cleaned the track and it installed without a hitch. I think the material and construction are as good as or better than the factory seal.
My initial thought was that this might have been too large, but it would have been much easier to slide all the way down if it were more tightly fitted. Once old caulking is removed, the caulking is easy to replace. If it is caulked like the old piece we replaced, I am sure it will last a long time.
