Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this in a fold-up trailer bunk bed?

Because it's a little stiff, we pair it with a memory foam topper. During the day and while traveling in our van, we fold both mattresses together and strap them into a folded futon position to create a couch. I hope this has been of assistance.

How much does the twin version of this mattress weigh in total?

I'm not sure because I have the queen version.

When the mattress is not in use, can it be folded into three or four halfs?

I wouldn't call it a "fold," but we use ours in our RV and keep it "rolled" in half when not in use. If that's what you're thinking of, it wouldn't fold up like a towel for storage.

I'm looking for a cover for this mattress, and I'm not sure what to get. At our hunt club, they're used in a camper. Perhaps it's as straightforward as a fitted sheet. ?

Fitted sheets are used in our home. I'd like to point out that on one side, we use a full bed, while on the other, we use a queen bed. The sheets were purchased on sale at Meijers and are excellent.

This is a significant upgrade over the military's supply. The mattress took a month to flatten out to the point where I couldn't feel a lump where it had been folded for shipping. I suppose if I had left it out in the sun for a week, it would have dried faster, but who has time for that? Aside from that, it was soft and comfortable to sleep on. This is a huge improvement over the military mattresses we had been using.

The topper is nice, but it's still a little too soft

The topper is nice, but it's still a little too soft. Even though it's made of firm foam, you still sink into it; it just takes a little longer. Just not strong enough to keep my husband from having back pain in the morning. However, the seller provided excellent customer service, and there were no strong odors as described in other reviews.

It was fantastic and extremely relaxing! My daughter went away to college and stated that the dorm mattress was horrible, but she now enjoys the way it feels. There is a significant difference!.

Our hunting camper will benefit from this

I'm going to put these in a small 22-foot camper that we keep at our hunting club, and I'm confident that these mattresses will be a huge improvement over the air pillow and 1-inch, 2-inch mattresses that we currently have. The sleeping frames are now equipped with a piece mattress. I put these in the camper a day ago to allow them to air out and get rid of the oxidation smell. Will be staying in the camper on Friday night in order to get up early for a scheduled work day at the club. I'd appreciate it if anyone who has these could point me in the direction of some foam covers. I believe twin xl fitted sheets will suffice, but if a cover made specifically for these is available, I would purchase it.
