Questions & Answers

Hanging it from the edge of a bunk bed in a college dorm will it work? Is it necessary for it to be leaned ?

The hooks allow the item to be hung

Steps are too narrow and hurt my feet when I climb up and down them?

Although the steps are narrow, none of our customers have complained about them

Do the hooks extend wide enough to hook over the top of an RV bathroom door when not in use so the hooks can be neatly stored ?

That's pretty much what I think. not, you could lay it on the bed or anywhere you want, but I am confident that you will be happy with the ladder

It will be necessary to cut it down by nine inches. Does the first step have enough room before the second?

Perhaps the last step will be cut if you just cut at the bottom!

I like the way it works / it's light weight
5/5

It did not come with a ladder for climbing up to the top bunk of the Keystone Bullet 243BHS. It worked out great for me, so I decided to try it out. You can either use the hooks on top which simply hook over the bunk, or install a second set of small hooks that snap into aluminum brackets so that it sits flush with the bunk. With the second option, I used aluminum brackets since they make the ladder a little stronger. Although I found the fit to be tight, I did not find it uncomfortable A permanent solution. It was my intention to loosen whatever was fitting, so we could throw the ladder on the top bunk and free up The ribs on the back of the mounting bracket were filed down with a file. It took only a few minutes for them to be placed in the irons because they are aluminum. We've got the perfect fit now! A ladder that is sturdy, yet it can easily be moved once it is no longer As I did not need the complete 5 foot height for our camper, I also cut the bottom from the legs by about 4 inches. It is easy to cut, file, and pop the rubber feet back on the aluminum leg after the rubber feet come off. Using this ladder worked out great for us and I would recommend it to anyone in need of one.

A message about missing parts has been posted I updated the August 3, 2020 entry to include the August 6, 2020 information
5/5

Despite my expectations, the ladder itself was just as I had I like the way that you did it & A sturdy design. In time to receive before my camping trip, I ordered this with fast shipping and it arrived right on time. However, the box was pretty beaten and ripped. It turns out that the brackets are preassembled on the upper part of the ladder, but there was only one bracket The bracket and the two screws are missing for me to use it properly. Sorry to hear that! This week I was planning to go on a trip and I would have returned it if I did not need it. A NEW UPDATE When I logged on to the Stromberg Carlson website on Sunday August 2nd, I sent a message asking for proof of purchase and my shipping address. On Monday August 3rd, they replied with an email asking for those details. As soon as I email them the proof of purchase, they contact me within an hour and tell me that the missing parts will be sent out. It is impossible to beat that level of customer service! The parts I am missing will be sent once I receive them. The parts I was missing from Stromberg Carlson have now been received from UPS on August 6, 2020. It is incredible how well this customer service is handled! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

The ladder we use in the camper is lightweight
5/5

A ladder would make it easier for our son, 12 years old, to get into his bunk in the bunkhouse of our camper. As you stepped into the bunks in the camper, there were shelves that you were meant to step on. These proved to be a painful obstruction when When I decided to look on Amazon, I discovered this. The hook and in feature and the ease of moving the installation during the day were what we were after. I found this item to be exactly what I needed! Sadly I can't share a picture right now since we got a foot of snow and have shut the slides to the camper for the time being. He tried it out and was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to move it out of the way, but better than how he used to get out of the bunk bed. . . . the ladder comes with two kinds of mounting brackets, I believe, which can be used to mount it. The ship was significantly lighter than anything we could have built and it was also cheaper. tried it out (I am under 200 pounds) and I was able to step on it just fine. The top of it was not yet fully installed at the time, so I didn't go to the top. Edited by
Today we put the ladder up, and it worked like a charm. As long as you swap the top hooks that came with it, the brackets worked perfectly. A review that I read said the brackets were not correct, however, they are correct provided Hooks came in two sets, the original ones don't work, but the other ones added with brackets work exactly as they should. Purchased this item and am very satisfied with it.

You don't have to look further, this ladder is perfect It was exactly what we needed in our Jayco X213, allowing us to reach the bunk
5/5

Her complaint was that top bunks could never be used by adults to get fitted sheets on, and standing on a bottom bunk while trying to do it was quite a challenge. The truth is that I got stuck there more than once and crawled up there more than once. We also have a ten year old daughter who is now too big to be thrown Ladders like this make all the difference in the world. Because of its light-weight properties and the fact that it could be cut to fit exactly to our needs, it was great. There is no other ladder as good as this one.

Society is at risk! Eventually, you will feel sorry for yourself
3/5

The step flexes extremely badly when you get on it and stand on it. Besides, I weigh only 180 pounds and I don't need the third steep. As soon as I showed my landlord, he was stunned. In addition, it is weak in the sideways direction. You will see it if you just push on it. There is a danger to society in this thing. This ridiculous product was engineered by whom? I have a good aluminum box tube type from the 1980s that is far superior to this. Those who rated this highly aren't aware of how forgiving and safe ladders are. There is something that scares me about this. If I risk my life over it, will you risk yours? A box frame frame is what you need. There will be a return to Amazon for this. This is dangerous!.

Sadly, we were unable to find a trailer with a shorter height
3/5

As far as I know, we had to reposition our trailer because there was no shorten option available for our travel trailer, and travel trailers generally need 60" of clearance The back bunk in our bed requires almost a full rung to fit. We cut off almost all of the rung. The fashion we bought our daughter is very cute, but for the price, it should come in the right size and not require additional labor on the consumer's side.
