Questions & Answers
A bunk bed for RV is designed for this application. Steps on the ladder are angled so they are level when the ladder is at an angle. Check with this company, they sell different models of ladders. You would be able to put the ladder straight up and down, but the steps would be angled funny, making it awkward. A good ladder with top quality construction, which I use for our daughter's bunk bed and hefty enough for our cabin furniture.
If you are mounting it to a tall object, it will depend on the height of the object. On the trailer, ours is leaned against a bunk bed on the top bunk. There is at least a foot of space between the top bunk and the bottom bunk, so it is not exactly 90 degrees. It comes with only two screws for the top bracket, which are the only mounting hardware included. I am not comfortable saying you wouldn't pull the ladder out depending on what you mount it to and how large the people are using the ladder
The angle should be cut at a specific angle to ensure that the material is at the right If you use brackets and mount to the front of the bed frame, or if you use the larger hooks over the edge, you can use the brackets. A higher level of security is offered by the former. In order for it to fit a 55" bed, it needs to be cut to 56-1/2" The angle must be 57" in order to be correct. It is recommended that the ladder's bottom be no higher than 10 feet There is 12” distance between the bed base and the center. Proper angles are described in the instructions.
A ladder that is 60 inches long must be kept 12 inches from the wall, according to the instructions.

Vacationing in Florida, we stayed at a hotel. I landed flat on my back and head when I fell from the ladder while standing on it to strip the bed. One of the legs bent and I grabbed on to the ladder and fell straight backwards. I had no memory of being in the place where I was during a brief period of unconsciousness. During a discussion, I noted that I didn't know what the year was, and denied having a dog, which I do have. The questions were many, but I couldn't answer them all. After being taken to the ER, I was thankful for everything to be suffered from a lot of pain in my body as a result of During that time, I had to restrict myself from doing certain things. This was quite unexpected for me. The legs of the ladder were twisted due to my negligence. We found an extra 100 pounds of weight left over compared to what the ladder was supposed to support. No, that's not the case! Are you people actually trying your ladder, or are you just guessing? You are so far off with your product description. Did you not test it? I am not sure this is the end.
It would have been better for me to measure Initially, these were too long, but after I cut 6 inches off the bottom of the legs with a hack saw, they are now perfect!.
Many have voiced concern about theirs bending due to their belief that it is too weak. I downloaded and read the manual from the manufacturer, and it stipulates a maximum angle at which the device can As close to vertical as possible should be used for installing this ladder to prevent the bending encountered by others. In order to make the bunk bed fit the angle of my daughter's home bunk bed (metal), I had to cut it to the right length, but it didn't take long at all. The only thing I need to find is a better way to attach it to the bed.
It's in good looks but the box was heavily damaged, but the ladder (fortunately) wasn't. My daughter writes that the treads are very comfortable and have much less of an effect on her.
I loved it. A ladder like this would have been a godsend in my situation. When I was on the top bunk, I had trouble climbing the ladder that came with the bunk bed. I have no more foot problems since I used this ladder. Size 6 (I wear it. It weighs roughly 115 pounds and has a heel height of 5 inches. Neither going up nor down the steps was a problem for me. 1) I didn't even attach the ladder properly. The hooks for the bunk bed were only attached to the existing frame right over the steps of the bunk bed. *If you have kids or live in a dorm, get this ASAP.
(I didn't use the screws or bolts)

Our young children couldn't climb up to the top bunk in the trailer since there was no ladder. It ended up that I made a mount on top of the plywood base of the bunk and secured it To reach the right height, we had to trim 5" from the legs on the bottom. My review is that this ladder works really well and I'd be willing to buy it again, but for a small ladder, it feels really expensive.
The update is Upon getting a new one, the box was in worse shape than the first. And you can imagine how dirty the ladder was. Based on the ladders they used, I assume they only Sadly, this is the only choice we had, so we will make the most In my opinion, if you find a ladder elsewhere, you don't need one of those. I had to wait for a week to get into the bunk, and there was no hardware to attach it. The ladder my daughter uses to climb into her bed has broken, which has prevented her from sleeping in her bed for a while now. There is still another week to wait until we receive a new one, and we hope that it will be equipped with the hardware we need.
I like how well designed this ladder is, but if you want to cut it down to fit, you have to take off the rubber feet and cut from the bottom up. Throughout the top of the ladder are threaded inserts that need to be threaded into the tube for fastening. There did not seem to be any way to remove the inserts easily. There is no problem, as long as you are aware of that. There were numerous types of fixings supplied with it to secure the top as well. My overall impression with my purchase has been very positive.
Ladders like this one are a big hit with my daughter. The bunk on our bed is 10 inches shorter than it is supposed to be. I fully accepted the fact that I would void any warranty, so I used a reciprocating saw and a I used a metal blade to remove the 10" at the bottom of the table. As soon as I took the rubber feet off of the old section, I capped the bottom where I had Because the threaded holes where the hooks attach must remain when the cut is made from the bottom, it is impractical to make the cut from the top. The ladder appears to be of good quality, and it was We were able to use it perfectly with some modifications.
