This is an almost perfect replacement
5/5

As a result, the assembly employees at Keystone Passport have decided that they do not need to screw the waste valve extension tube/handles to the waste valve. As I was reading the post, I noticed that there were two threads showing. An 8-month old pug was a faithful companion until he went missing during a road trip covering 4300 miles! The remaining handle from Gray was moved from the other end of the trip. The following text There is black on the front My 2020 Keystone Passport 197RB had an unusable handle on one of the waste valves, so I decided to replace it with this. It is about 4" longer than the original handle. It has been thread locker applied to the handle and in full seated position. Now we're ready to move forward!.

The handle needs to be made of metal and the length should be different
4/5

The waste gates and handles manufactured by Valterra have always seemed to be in good condition, and I haven't experienced any issues with them. If there is an 18" handle extension (in fact an 8 "AND a 9 "? ). I could use a tubing cutter to get them close to 21", but for my application an 18" would have been perfect. I'll no longer be able to reach for the release handles when I'm hugging the waste exit near my face. My replacement was to remove the plastic handles from the extensions and to replace them with the metal ones from the Valterra gates. My maintenance schedule for the season required me to get some new Valterra valves so that I would not have to worry about them being nasty during The midway support brackets were fabricated from stainless steel, so as to lessen the likelihood of them bending or creating any issues as a result of road vibrations.

Both of them work the same way

I am satisfied. I needed these because I have an old Carriage 5th wheel with waste valves under the belly. Taking away the old valves caused the old extension pieces to break. As far as I can tell, the new extensions are similar to This is a thick aluminum tube with a handle at one end. It is threaded on both ends. Removed handles on the new valves from the extension rods and screwed on the extension rods using cloth and vice grips (gently). I have no problem with them.

However, please note that When I say the old ones were broken, I'm referring to It had been about 20 years since they were manufactured, and some of the parts had become corroded over the years. The valves themselves were stiff, so it was harder to push and pull on them than usual. That is to say, I am not worried that the new ones will fail just because they resemble the old ones.

Looks as if it was a genuine item

Last winter, we accidentally lost one of our tank valves in the road. It just unscrewed itself and fell to the ground. It was thus a shock to us when we tried to deep clean the trailer and realized that we could not clean the smelly, vile tanks! The pull that fits our tank valves is exactly what I wanted, and I was unable to get one locally, and even on Amazon, it took quite some time to get it. It does exactly what I wanted, and is the perfect tool for the job. You don't have to worry about the tanks now -- they're super clean.

It is no longer necessary to have longer arms

RV chores are made easier in difficult to reach places when you have this item handy. To remove a valve handle properly, a pair of pliers can be used to hold the existing valve rod in place while it is being screwed out. To ensure the new extension stays in place, a bit of Locktight on the threads is helpful. The T-shirt will need to be extended if needed Locknut on handle can be loosened in order to extend handle.

There is a missing pull handle on the Black Tank
4/5

I had the same unpleasant surprise as everyone else here when I pulled into the dump station and discovered that my black tank valve was missing. After I had to lay in sewage water, cut the underbelly open, and find the black valve to pull the gate open, I opened the gate with two hands. The next day, I placed an order for it. In order to install it, I applied a liberal amount of blue loctite. Keep your fingers crossed that I won't need another!.

It's a good day for you

After purchasing a new travel trailer, I noticed that one of these metal brackets was missing, so I pointed this out to the retailer and they installed a new one. On my way home, I noticed that the other one had fallen off somewhere. The fact that it is a direct replacement is awesome, but I would recommend using locktight when you install yours so you don't have the same problems. I hope you have a wonderful camping trip!.

There is no room in the opening

another longer version of this handle and it fitted perfectly. But the one I bought for the screw end is too narrow to fit over it. By sticking a screwdriver inside and turning it, I managed to widen it a bit. There seemed to be some expansion in the soft metal. It does not fit properly, though, and I am disappointed.
