Questions & Answers

The female is 1 she is the female. What is the thread size of the 5" side?

YES, there are threads on the female side. The gray water tank outlet fits the Gray Water Outlet on my Jayco popup camper. So I don't just have water pooling under the camper, I put it on when I drain a tank with a garden hose. Finally, the cap is put back on after the hood is removed. Here is what I can think of to help!

My travel trailer has a fresh water tank fill line, and I would like a garden hose adapter to connect to it. Is this a good fit?

There is no way it will fit. Sticking a hose in it as designed is the best way to go

Is the female collar suitable for a size 1 female The 3/4" male threaded drain (that is, it accommodates "1-" Usually when you think of 1/2", you are thinking of the ID of pipe that would connect with a 1" What size collar would be best for a female of 3/4"?

I used it for exactly what it was intended for

Can this be used with standard 5/8 or 1/2 inch water hoses?

both ends of the hose are the same size, so both fit 5/8 or 1/2 inch hose.

The key to having realistic expectations is to set them
5/5

As far as I can tell, you get what you see. Exactly what I needed for my pop up. I wouldn't say it will change your life. It's not that I am more attractive. It's not that people like me better. I didn't gain any more money from it. Global warming and the healthcare crisis cannot be solved with this method. But you can attach a hose to it so that you can drain your pop-up waste. In my book, that alone earns it a 5 star rating.

An easy way to fix the sink drain on a camper
5/5

Using this connector, I hooked up the drain directly to the sink in my camper van. I did not want to mess around with household drain pipes, draining into a water can daily with just toothbrushing water for several days, not much more than toothbrushing water, so I drain into a water can. It's the perfect piece for a trap, or other use (see photo).

Is very user-friendly and works perfectly
3/5

These are what I used to replace the large ones in my camper when I remodeled it. Under my sink, I have 5" drain pipes. They screwed right on to the sink trap and I ran 3/4" clear vinyl tubing as my drain line. They work great. There are like two threads on the pipe nut, which is why it got 3 stars. To get the thing to seal, it was like wrestling a bear. In the end, I had to pack the whole tension nut with plumber's putty in order to stop it from In order to thread it on securely, the nut simply needs to be deeper.

It's a good product
4/5

Avoid overusing it Increasing the tension. A good product that does what it is supposed It could, however, be improved by having more threads on the large nut/collar that is connected My experience was that it was easy to over-estimate I could not quite get my fingertips around it, which caused the plastic threads to slip and make it even easier for me to over-tighten A tighten up. This is what I will say again (Stiffen the string using b) use as LITTLE of this product as possible to prevent As a result, I was able to install a stainless steel sink to my grey water tank in my camper van. I also used one to convert a horse trough into a bathtub in a cabin when it was part of a drain assembly. As a whole This is a good buy. Don't let it get out of your control. As far as the job is concerned, it does its.

Deal of the day

I needed this to install a drain spout (from a sink) in our Coleman/Fleetwood pop up The following handy hint can come in handy When you set up the trailer, you attach the hose to this drain spout and place a receptacle beneath so the gray water can be collected. Drill a hole in the top of the bucket for the hose end to fit through and then use a five gallon bucket with a lid. During the night, it keeps critters from getting into the bucket.

I offer one minor suggestion, but this is an excellent addition to a trailer
4/5

I used it on the drain on my tent trailer and it worked great. All I'd like to see different is a standard barbed end rather than the current round end. It is multithreaded. If it had a barbed end, it would be easier to attach a hose to a bucket, rather than a plain end. The necessity of jerry-rigging Purchasing an adapter barbed to attach to the threads or rigging a hose with heat would be efficient options.

It is finally possible to hook up a hose to the portable waste tank and drain that way instead of dumping into the landfill
5/5

Finding an attachment that will fit my 2008 Forest River Flagstaff HW27SC 1 1/2 in gray water tank valve that drains from the sink was a real challenge. All the camping/rv stores around the area had no idea there was a drain there, and the lot we purchased the pop up from did not even KNOW there was one there. In just a couple of short weeks, we'll be able to hook up a hose to a portable waste tank and drain that way, rather than manually dropping it into a plastic bucket and carefully dumping it down the drain.
