Questions & Answers
This is probably the case if the toilet is newer.
Under the rim of the bowl, not underneath, should be the seal.
The seal works perfectly, and I'm ready to go. Make sure you wear a latex glove Then, open the hatch, remove the old one, and install the new one.
In no way did I do that

There was a problem fitting this seal to my Dometic Model 310. The seal I purchased was needed because the RV toilet would not hold water, it was leaking slowly. As part of replacing my old seal with this one, I removed the old seal and it left a small gap in its place. It had not been lubricated, and I had thoroughly cleaned the toilet and the area around its opening to ensure there was no debris left behind. It was simply not seated perfectly into the cavity. The seal did snap into place when I put the flat side of the seal on flat and I then put the plunger back and it was not even around the lip or the The old seal was slightly larger and firmer than the new seal, which I got and compared to the new seal. By cleaning the old seal, I was able to get rid of all the debris that had accumulated on it, then I replaced it. I am keeping this new seal even though it did not work for my toilet but I may have to use it for something else in the future or even in another I hope this review has helped you in some way, if it has use the Helpful link on Amazon. Thanks so much. This is ****Nicole****.
The replacement is a perfect match for a fraction of the cost of Dometic's (far too expensive) It is very simple to install them. Then, hold down the foot pedal, grab the old seal, and pull it out release the foot pedal, and replace with the new one, ensuring that it's completely seated.
Despite putting the seals back in place, my RV toilet was leaking. YouTube showed a video of a guy who took his toilet apart, changed the seal, and then put it back together. My toilet needed to be replaced nearly a year ago, at a big expenditure, rather than being subjected to a nasty repair task. Thanks to the easy installation instructions, I was able to find this replacement seal. There is no need to exaggerate when other reviewers state that it is a five-minute job. It was a very easy fix, and it worked just as well as if it had never been repaired. I didn't have to do any nasty repairs and/or saved a lot of money. I recommend this book highly.
researched the issue on the internet. WOW, talk about a simple fix. The research was done online and the videos were watched on YouTube. Having just moved into an RV, I was very worried as to whether it would be possible to fix a leaking toilet. There was a video where the toilet seal had to be replaced by disassembling or removing the toilet. There is no complicated procedure associated with the process all that needs to be done is to reach into the old seal and pull on it to remove it. Then you just install the new It would be easier if you got a partner to step on the flush pedal and hold back the ball so that it does not harm you while you do the job. You'll want to take your time and ensure the new seal is properly seated if the seal were to slip out of your hand and land in the holding tank, you might find that what was an easy fix just got a bit more complicated. I forgot to mention, this price is a downright bargain compared to what the original manufacturer was charging.
As far as my Dometic is concerned, it worked. I found it to be exactly what I needed and did the job as expected. I'm sorry for all of you saying it didn't! -Either they don't know the model number of their toilet (look at your toilet and search on google image for "Dometic toilet 310" or 320"), or their ball valve got knocked out of place and they need to put it back in Don't let your water run The following text If the ball valve is open, the water will flow The following text To perform this task, you will need a long tool with a hook attached to the end. The following are a few examples of crowbars. The palm of your hand (or your hand if you have a small arm, mine is not small enough) The following text The hinge arm needs to be hooked up The following text Make sure to pull up with some force, but carefully. When the Ball valve is put back in place, you may hear or feel a click. When this does not work, you will have to take the toilet out of the house and turn it over so that you will be able to see where the connection points are. As compared to a typical toilet, this one is extremely light. I wish you all the best!.
The Dometic 310 RV toilet is equipped with two of these. A new gasket was used immediately to replace an original gasket, which was nearly seven years old, and a spare is kept as a backup. A soft rubber seal will stay in place well even when it is firm. As there are no extraneous bits of material in the products, the quality of the manufacturing process can be readily seen. Our next purchase will be this one.
The original seal, worn out and failing to hold water in the bowl, was replaced. Our first stop was an RV dealer, but they wanted $36, which we didn't agree to. You can buy one seal for 99 cents. Obviously, the next move was to look for other options, which lead us to the Amazon model below. Having decided to buy it, we put it to the test. It was extremely easy to install - no problem! After watching a video on YouTube I spray silicon on the device and it works I have had it for over a week and there hasn't been any problem. I would recommend this product because of its easy installation and high.
As a result of our hard water, the seal that came with the toilet hardened to the point it did not form a seal any more. We had a huge problem from our holding tank, too, because we noticed a strong methane smell. It made me so happy when I ran a search to see if there was a fix, and I found that I could order and install it. When I watched a couple of videos, I realized that the toilet didn't even have to be removed. Five minutes were all it took for me to install it. There is no doubt that it has fixed Our results are fantastic! My husband and I are so happy with them!.
