It was mentioned in some reviews to buy Dometic seals at much higher price if you want authentic My current seals were already leaking down overnight, so I figured, what the heck, even if they didn't work I'd be no worse off. Added these to my order to replace the old ones on my 310. On the bottom surface of the Dometic seals, I coated a bit of silicon grease on the seals as I did with the originals. A flush was performed and a check was done the following One toilet was holding water and the other was dry. There has been no sign of impending death so far, and the seals are still holding onto Honestly, I cannot say at this time if they will stand the test of time as long as OEM but if kept properly, then I have no doubt they will.
In the other hand, my Dometic 3xx, which is 1 year old, could not be sealed. The past few months have been turbulent. There is no need to disassemble the toilet, simply turn the water off, open the ball valve by flushing, and pull out the spout. Replacing the seal in the slot should be done next. It's sealed now!.
It has been great working with seal since I installed it in October. We are now in February, and no problems have been reported. It is a seal I highly recommend.
They seem to be doing a good It will be interesting to see how they hold up next season, but for the money, they're hard to beat.
We bought this to replace the toilet in our Dometic RV. It was an inexpensive, perfect replacement. You can use a little lubricant to help it stay in.
It was difficult for the water to stay in the toilet. The new ring fixed that.
This is a sturdy and good quality product. Regardless, it provides a tight seal to keep all smells below and is great for the price. It may be that it's a little thicker than the original seal because it provides a tighter fit or maybe it is just that the original one was worn over time.
That would be a great replacement for me. Initially, it was a huge pain to install, but I finally did You shouldn't underestimate the value of a backup since you never know when it might be needed!.
