As far as I know, it is not possible to order these pads without the reflective backing. I think it's only possible to order them in one size.

This product is very easy to install and it does a very good job of insulate roof vent openings when using air conditioning to deal with hot air entering. Despite not having tested them yet in late fall, I would think that the insulators would work very well for heating as well.
Keeping the heat out is much easier with them. The goal is to keep warm during the winter with these. A snug fit is what they are!.
