As I said, I did call suburban to be sure it would fit like my old unit (I think it is a 30), and it did.
Manufacturer specifications and warranty coverage shall be followed and it will be made by the lowest bidder who also meets the manufacturer's specifications. China, Brazil, Mexico or Ohio can all be the origin of this product. Whether it's dayton or Fasco, it doesn't matter. think what we are expressing here is buyer beware, or due diligence, or possibly both.
The reason for not doing so is unclear to me. The vents must be properly positioned for it to work.
The easiest way to replace a Suburban is simply to unscrew the duct end from the old unit and screw on the new unit. If you have other ducts coming out of the sides, they are easily unscrewed as well and screwed into the new unit. The ducts were already there, so it wasn't necessary to remove

We had been using the original one that came with the RV, which had failed. So I purchased this one for our RV. There are a couple of vendors near us who sold us a new one but insisted on getting it calibrated and fixing something minor inside. But it's been snowing like crazy here, so I wanted it as soon as possible. I received the order at least 4 to 5 days earlier than the original shipping date I had been provided. In addition, as soon as we received it, we would begin the process The next one we just slap There was little to no work required other than rewiring. The heater has been turned on Getting warm was not a problem. There is a noticeable difference in noise when the kick-on switch is turned My wife and I are very happy with this product. I love the fact that we only had to rewire it after it was installed.
Buyers should inspect their packages as soon as they are delivered. It seems like a nice piece of equipment, but I have not been able to take it apart to get it running and only have limited time to play Getting it off the rig and onto a bench for testing is next on my list. It was disappointing. As soon as I fix the issue, it should work as it should, but until then, my camper lacks heat. as a replacement for my original, but unfortunately I wasn't able to complete the installation for a few months, so any hopes of getting warranty support or replacement seem unlikely to me.
We received the new furnace and had no problems having the repairman install it once it was received. I find it comfortable to use and keeps my RV at a pleasant.
It's a pleasure doing business with My old heater had stopped working during hunting season last year, so this was the perfect replacement. *Be sure to pay attention to the wires while disconnecting. This will make hook up much easier. When it comes to RV construction, older RVs don't seem to be terribly concerned with the color of the wires.
It has been a great product! I have set it up the first time and it has worked perfectly! For the same product, the RV centers wanted/charged $1,100! That's what you pay to have the RV repair centers do it and you pay for the labor as well! For the DIYer, this is the only way!.
I installed the furnace three weeks ago, but it stopped working after three weeks. Repair issues were not resolved when seller was contacted for warranty service. The repairs had to be paid for.
This small heater is able to heat the entirety of a motor home, despite its size. Happy with my purchase, and even better that it was on sale.
Since I have used it for a quarter of a century, it still works perfectly. The fan is very quiet, so less air is flowed, but it.
