This mount appears to be exceptionally well constructed. In comparison to a tube, the shaft is solid. Welds are complete, and the back plate is nicely reinforced. br>Can't beat the price. br>It fits my 2002 Chevy pickup perfectly. 2 x 2 box.
Solid shank that appears to be well constructed and welded. However, the package arrived damaged, and the box was nearly destroyed before it was ever placed in an Amazon box. That disappointed me, but I needed it right away and couldn't return. I suppose it's just a matter of appearance.
The hitch was delivered promptly and performed admirably. The shaft that goes into the receiver is made of solid steel and is quite substantial. The part fits perfectly in my pintle hitch and performs admirably. I am extremely happy.
I BOUGHT A BIGGER ONE BECAUSE IT WAS SMALLER THAN VIDEO SHOWS. IT APPEARS TO BE STRONG.
For a heavy trailer, I mounted a pintle, which works perfectly.
Heavy-duty construction. This is what I bought for my dump trailer, and it's great.
I drove from California to Texas and purchased a 30' 8,000-pound trailer, which I towed home with no problems after installing a pentle hitch.
