Yes, they should be able to do so without difficulty.

250 hooks for trailer chains. The Ford F-150 was a good match for this. Towing trailers with 250 chain hook eyes. There is no need to buy a clevis or anything else.
I've used them several times now with no issues. They're simple to put on and take off, and they're not too heavy to move around in. The size is ideal for clipping into the safety chain clip areas on my 2001 Chevy Silverado's hitch mount without causing too much play. It also works well as a latch for our horse butt chains. The spring lock is simple to slip on the rings and latches back quickly. I'm fortunate that I haven't had the chance to put their strength to the test, but they appear to be capable of pulling the trailer's weight if my hitch fails.
The holes on the hitch on my Chevy 3500 are too small for the standard size safety chain hooks. These are extremely comfortable to wear. Long before these hooks break, the chains will snap.
I recently purchased a new truck, and all of my previous safety chain hooks are no longer functional. These were effective.
made, and they now give me extra peace of mind when trailering my boat.
The only reason I didn't give it a five-star rating is because the clip that holds the hook in place is a little flimsy. The hook, on the other hand, is a strong one.
When I want to be able to "hook" it to a tow point on a vehicle, I add this to the end of a 5/16 grade 70 chain.
