Questions & Answers
It's designed to fit a Toyota Tundra from 2007 to 2020. It was the most straightforward hitch installation I've ever encountered! I spent more time getting ready to install the hitch than actually installing it. To remove the factory bolts and replace them with the new, longer bolts that came in the kit, I only needed one socket and ratchet, one wrench, and a torque wrench. To secure the installation, the supplied lock washers must be properly installed. I've had one on every truck I've owned since 2000, and it's the best combination of strength, cost, and convenience. It's a fantastic addition to your wardrobe.
Because it is bolted to the recover hooks, the pattern must match.
According to the fit guide on the draw tite wed site, your tundra requires a 65080. Look into it.
I believe that if I wanted a brush guard for my truck, it should be bolted to the frame rather than wobbling in a receiver. So, no, I'm not interested.

Great buy; the price at the time of purchase was unbeatable. The fit was perfect, and it came with all of the necessary mounting hardware. br>I needed a front-mounted cargo carrier for my 2016 Tundra, and this fit the bill perfectly. br>I just got back from a 780-mile road trip with no problems. I weighed around 125 pounds with a generator and other miscellaneous gear. It was an excellent solution. br>On the tundra, I modified the front bash plate so that the hitch or plate did not have to be removed for an oil change. Read the directions carefully and make any necessary adjustments. br>I'd buy it again in an instant!.
It's fine, but I believe that welding both sides would make it more durable. I'll have to do the welding myself on the other side. Mexico is the source of this product.
This hitch was installed in a 2021 Tundra and was simple to set up. It's where I mounted my cradle-mounted winch. It's sturdy and well-made, with a wide range of applications. This is a highly recommended purchase.
The tow hooks are reused, and the construction is solid. It includes longer grade 8 bolts and washers. As I expected, jigsawing the 4" hole (for oil filter access) was not difficult.
It was simple to put in place. It will prevent the front three skid plate screws from being tightened. The oil filter should be cut out of a 4" hole in the skid plate, according to the instructions. I cut it with tin snips without removing it. It was already a pain to remove and reinstall every time you changed your oil. It sits about a half-inch or more above the skid plate. It's about 5 inches wide in the front. 5 inches in front of the license plate Another 2 are the 5/8 pin holes. Back to the center, 5 inches.
I think 2 inches more forward would be ideal, but I'll need to get an extension adapter first. Aside from that, it's a solidly constructed item.
Perfect fit for a Meyer home plow and a truck.
This item is exactly as described, but it sits too far under the truck on my 2016 Toyota Tundra. Now I need to purchase an extension so that my bike rack can fit. It would have been nice if they had offered a package deal at the time I purchased it. It was very simple to mount.
