The 2015 Traverse was equipped with this feature. 4-Plugged Without having to disconnect the battery, you can plug in the trailer wiring harness. The most difficult part of the installation was getting access to the 4-way plug through the rear passenger wheel. Wiring Harness for Trailers with Pins
Yes.
On a 2008 Traverse, I put mine to use. It's very simple. After 2008, I'm not sure if the wiring harnesses were changed. If not. everything is in order.
Yes, I think so. The right rear wheel well has a connector where you can plug it in. Connect the fuses in the underhood fuse box, route and secure the harness, and you're ready to go. This is for a vehicle that does not have a towing package already installed.

This is what I put on my 2017 Chevy Traverse. It's great that the Traverse is already set up for this. The back wheel and wheel well cover must be removed, according to the instructions. There's no reason to do it in the first place - Simply feel for the vehicle's plug and connect it blindly. There is only one plug in that location, and it can only be inserted in one direction, so seeing what you're doing isn't necessary. Save yourself the trouble of removing what the instructions say you should! This is a nice wiring harness, but I believe it is a little pricey for what you get, given that it includes all of the necessary relays and fuses.
The product is good, and the instructions are simple-to-follow. Due to GMC's placement, the wiring on a 2014 GMC Acadia is a pain to connect to the wire harness. The fuses and relays are easy to set up, and the instructions are straightforward. The battery is located behind the front passenger seat in the 2014 Acadia (slide the front passenger seat all the way forward, open the rear passenger-side door). I think I used a t-shirt to open the side door, flip up the floor mat, remove the plastic cover under the passenger seat, and I think I used a t-shirt to open the passenger door. I used a 20 torx bit to remove the battery cover screw, then a 10mm socket to remove the negative battery cable). br>br>After removing several screws from the inner fender cover, pry it to the side to reveal the wiring harness in the back. A plastic "clip" secures the harness to the car's body. The harness can be slid off the clip, allowing just enough room for the Curt harness to be plugged in. I then reattached the inner fender and reconnected the battery after sliding the harness back onto the clip. I connected the Curt harness to the bumper mount, ran it inside the frame, and popped it out through the hitch installation access hole. Now that I think about it, I think I'll wrap tape around it where it emerges from the hole to protect it from abrasion.
It includes a plug that connects to your car's stock trailer wiring receptical (mine is on a 14 Acadia). The most difficult part of the installation was removing the rear passenger tire; first, you plug in around 8 fuses and relays (all of which are included in the kit), then you remove the rear passenger wheel and connect the wiring. Finally, route the wiring about 3 feet to the hitch using the provided zip ties, and you're finished! It only takes about 30 minutes tops, and it works perfectly! I would strongly suggest it.
This kit came with everything you needed, and the instructions were excellent. This wiring kit comes with all of the fuses and relays you'll need to finish the job.
It connects and functions, but it will not click or lock into the stock plug. Make sure it's secured with a zip tie so it doesn't fall out. Apart from that, it's fantastic!.
My 2014 Chevy Traverse now has a backup camera. It's well-written and easy to follow. I followed their instructions, and my boat trailer now works perfectly. It's important to note that seeing the small numbers in the fuse box for each fuse you need to replace can be difficult, so make sure you're working in good lighting.
As previously stated by others. Installation is simple and instructions are clear. As others have stated, the most difficult part was gaining access to the vehicle's plug to connect this and squeezing my hands into the cramped area to secure the wiring with zip ties. Only issue with the following instructions: br>br> The first step is to locate the battery under the hood on the driver's side. In this case (a 2016 Traverse), the battery is located behind the front passenger seat. inside the hut.
The vehicle's concept had already been conceived. This was perfect because it was wired and only needed to be snapped in.
