This is an excellent piece of writing. What is the diameter of the hole where it will be mounted on your receiver head? What is the diameter of your trailer's ball receptacle? Is the ball rated for a receiver and equalizer assembly that is more powerful than yours? You will most likely know the answer if you can answer all of these questions. Because no pertinent information about the ball was provided to answer with a definite YES, the second response is priceless and most likely correct.
All of them have the same length. Go to any store and take a measurement of one.
Long enough to hold the nut as well as a half-dozen threads. A hole can be found in some of them. A cotter pin is a small metal pin that is used to secure a cotter

under-priced ball with a large capacity Equal- Because zer's weight distribution hitches were not designed for the standard length shank, they can only sell theee. Instead, you're compelled to purchase these balls, which are only a fraction of an inch shorter. It's hard not to think they're doing it on purpose. This ball is overpriced and only has about half the capacity of a Curt equivalent.
This is fantastic! It was exactly what I was looking for. The thread length was ideal for working on an equalizer hitch head. Torque is needed for installation, which is 430lbs. yikes. I had to pay to have it torqued to the proper specifications.
The E2 system, of course, necessitates the use of these balls. Those who are slamming and complaining about it, on the other hand, should take better care of their gear. You'll only need one of these if you use grease.
It's ideal for the Equalizer E4 hitch, which doesn't include a trailer ball. The short threads on this ball prevent it from interfering with the movement of the hitch's tension spring arms when turning or backing sharply, as a standard "normal" length trailer ball would. Obviously, this is more expensive than a standard trailer ball from Walmart or a truck stop off the shelf. However, it has a well-established reputation for excellence. This is what I use to tow my 37-foot travel trailer, which weighs 12,000 pounds.
The equalizer hitch ball is a fantastic ball with a shorter shank than standard, making it ideal for use with the equalizer WD hitch. Unfortunately, I was sent a different brand of ball, which does not have the shorter shank. I'm coming back.
It accomplishes the task at hand. My 8000 Grand Design TT is being dragged. Just make sure it's capable of 430 ft-lbs of torque. lbs.
It's a big little sucker, and the socket I had to buy is enormous, but it does the job and obviously works well with the equil- It's not designed for a hitch.
Built to last.
