The mat is of good quality. During my check at Wally World, I saw that the weave of similar priced mats was not as tight and that they were a lot It kept dirt out of my motorbike when I camped in a desert area, but I have only used it once I brought home a mat for my dog to lie on and the dog had a nice place to lie down without all the dirt. Until it got hot and she started pawing at the dirt next to the mat and onto the mat for Getting rid of the dirt was easy and a couple of whacks on the back resulted in the dirt falling It was necessary to purchase metal stakes to keep the mat in place when the wind picks up, which I think is a great idea. In contrast to grommet holes, the mat has small loops for tie downs. These loops are less likely to mess up the mat than It is easy for me to toss this in the storage bag and toss it under the dining table of the Motor home, and we're off. This is a great purchase.
There's no need to worry about cleaning it! It's light and can be easily swept! It is the perfect solution for the deck of our camper. Mud and dirt are tracked everywhere by us and the dogs, and we needed something easy to clean. We haul water and our place is in the Rocky Mountains, at 9k elevation, so I needed the easy to clean rug. Despite its short life, it was inexpensive enough to replace every few years if it is destroyed by the sun. For our purposes, it is just fine.
My first introduction to the Wilderness Hunter Mat was after visiting a friend who had bought it one year ago. They had used it many times outdoors and it was still in excellent condition. It's time to say goodbye to my very bulky, heavy fake grass carpet. Due to an error when picking the size that displays the horse design when choosing the design I wanted, I was anxious that I would get the design with horses when I ordered it, but was very happy to be sent the design with the wilderness.
By keeping the RV site ( located in a forest ) free from debris, the site could remain uncluttered. There were dents captured on heavier items such as chairs, tables, etc. Sweeping and cleaning well are key to getting rid of dust. Ensure that the paper is properly rolled and folded. I'm not sure how long the product will last, but it was very reasonably priced. However, I had lots of chiggers, and these things are still itching me 2 weeks later. Well, I know how to scrape a chigger now. Instead of wearing pantyhose, I could wear tights.
I have been using it full time for about a year and two months now. After they had each corner pegged down, a storm blew right through tonight and ripped the outer edges and seams right off. Considering the price point, I suppose it is not too bad but may need to be reapplied after a while.
I like the fact that it's quite spacious and works well for our 42' fifth A bag is included in which the product can be put easily. It is sturdy, foldable and easy to carry. Despite rain, it dries quickly after being swept. It is easy to sweep clean.
Our camper had been using small door mats at the top of the steps. Despite our best efforts, we kept finding debris in that area. I like the size of this rug and how it really provides shoes with a chance to get cleaned. Make sure the camper is off prior to entering. Before entering the camper we take off our boots outside and change to shoes (or slippers) to go hunting.
It is the mat I use for my camper. In terms of durability, it has been excellent. It cleans easily with a bristle brush. It is only a downside that we keep it folded the majority of the time in storage because the creases are always there. We are not sure if the mats would flatten out if they were used on a patio and the patio was never put away again.
