Selected User Reviews For MILWAUKEE ELECTRICAL TO Milwaukee 7 in. Billet Torpedo Level
My plumbing use for this level makes me wish it had deburring rings, like the old Milwaukee level used to. (Enter into my cold dead hands and pry it from me. ) But, in spite of its low price, it is a great little level with nice graduation marks for 1/8" and 1/4". I want to see vertical alignment marks as well. Do you have any suggestions? On some PVC fittings, we set pitch away from the face.
I am shocked at how weak the magnets are! You will be able to bump this level just barely enough so that it will fall off whatever metal you have The 3 dollar plastic level and the magnet strip worked better for me (and we all know how bad they If you are relying on the magnet to hold the screw in place, don't even think about sinking it.
It's compact, sturdy, and strong! I have dropped it a few times and still no damage has been done! There are jumbo bubbles to make it easier to Using bubbles for plumbing is also a great idea, since they have slope markers! On a level, these magnets are the strongest I've ever seen! A broken bit tip could be easily extracted from a magnetic sheath using the magnet. This says something, if you ask me.
It is the best level I've ever played. Strong magnets are used in the magnets.
I like it very much.
This is a good magnet and a good tool.
It is square, sharp, light and really bad! I'm impressed with the strength of these magnets! It's tough as nails, this aluminum block. I highly recommend this product, a bit pricey but well.
Levels are generally pretty good, but they do suffer from the same drawback that any metal frame level suffers from. Drop it and you'll get dents and nicks that you'll have to smooth out with a file or risk inaccurate readings.
