In order to level the RV correctly, the slide outs should be extended when the RV is being set up. Throughout the leveling process, the slide outs ought to be retracted before you complete the Step 2. When the sliders are in place, the LevelMatePRO records the slightly off-level position as its step is important because the slides must be installed before leveling can be done. You should level the slide deck with the LevelMatePRO when the slides are in, and when the slides are out you should be back at the level you started with when you did the initial leveling during setup.
My first generation unit did not come with an on/off switch, and I complained to their support about it for a while. According to the study, RVs travel once or twice a year on average. In my explanation to him, I mentioned that the people willing to pay this kind of money for a single function might be traveling frequently. DON'T FORGET TO SWITCH IT OFF! In the end, I would say that they went along with my opinion and others'. I will suggest what I'm going to do for those with Gen1. Install a 15 cent micro switch Make sure that a 3v cell battery is used (not a button). You might find one of these in a garage remote control or something like that. Attach the switch and big battery with a few small wires, tape, or whatever else you need. If you have a much higher capacity battery, this should perform as well if not better than gen 2.
Since this was the most central point of our fifth wheel, we mounted ours inside the cupboard over the table. I would guess you could put it in the storage compartment of your trailer as long as the 5th wheel is level when you do this and the 5th wheel is in the center.
You can use it to level your wheels with any leveling blocks or jacks that you have. It shows the amount by which the wheels need to be leveled on a diagram. The choice is yours on how to go about accomplishing that.

Our 41' diesel pusher has been equipped with the system. You can find level very easily with this and it does the job well. It is likely that this is the first version of this that we received, but I have two complaints. In the coach, there is no easy way to use 12vdc to power it due to the battery life being so short. Within a period of six weeks, I have already gone through (2) 2032 batteries. This was a real pain in the butt to set up to connect to 3 devices via bluetooth. It connected fine with the first one, but 2nd and 3rd devices would not connect without removing the battery and replacing it one more time for each. I don't have to pry out the battery every time I need a new device because there is a reset button. Therefore, my suggestions are to allow them to use an external power source or a larger battery type that has a longer lifespan! There is nothing more annoying than having to remove four screws and pry the old battery out every 3 weeks! I would like to put a reset button on it so we don't have to remove the battery every time we want to add a new device. Otherwise it's a really useful tool to know what to do when parking and setting up. You should be at least 25" above your level in all four directions. This is a great idea. There is only one thing left to do to the apple polish it. A UPDATED VERSION As a result of Chuck's replies, I emailed Chuck from Logic Blue Technology and we discussed my unit and symptoms. Chuck sent me a replacement unit and UPS call tags for the old unit to be returned to him. No problems have been reported since I replaced the unit, and the new one is working fine. LevelmatePro to be extremely useful in the setup procedures and in helping me assess the site's status and what needs to be done to level it. Please accept my thanks for paying attention to and resolving this issue, Chuck. It was one of the first products I showed to over a dozen others and many of them have since purchased their own. LogicBlue Technology has improved my battery life with the new software setting to automatically put my computer to sleep after "x" hours. Thanks again Chuck and LogicBlue Technologies for a great product.
The product worked fine for a few days, then it just stopped working. The battery was replaced, but nothing has improved. As a starter, I am going to give this a one star rating. I really like it. * Update Chuck from Logic Blue Tech called me, and is arranging to send a A little over an hour after sending the email about the warranty, he called me. Customer service of this caliber would be considered excellent.
This is one of my favorite things ever! The leveling of our motorhome (25' LTV Unity) has always been difficult for me since I was a girl. A few days ago, I ran across this device on a travel blog and immediately began researching. As soon as I laid eyes on it, I knew it had to be mine. It took only a few days for the box to arrive. I'm glad! Installing the app was simple after I looked at the instructions and Youtube installation video. It was easy to set up. I gathered all the tools I needed. An electrical engineer attached the device to the wall of a closet with a level, tape measure, and small Phillips head screwdriver. As I ascended the steps, I took the required measurements (and wrote them down) and walked out to find a level spot so I could initialize the device. This level setting has to be based on a level spot or level rig, so you must have it leveled. Since most parking lots have some slope to drain water, that was the most challenging part. It only took me a couple minutes to find a level area. The leveling of our motorhome was a breeze at each campground where we stayed during our three week vacation. The adjustment could be made by moving forward/backward as necessary, and if it exceeded about two inches, the leveling blocks could be put in place. A nice feature is that it tells you how many inches each wheel is out of level (if any). Setting up the account took a considerable amount of time. In terms of cost, it is nothing to sneeze at, but only if you are financially able. The unit runs on a 2032 battery and broadcasts a bluetooth signal for at least an hour as soon as the app is turned on. Keeping the battery clean preserves the battery's life. I have edited The 14th of July, 2018 to the 21st of July, 2018 I still love the LevelMate Pro Pro for its ease of use for I find the battery situation to be problematic. After the RV is in storage for a while and we take a trip, it tends to get messy. A new battery is necessary since the old one was dead. The installation was not very convenient because it had to be done in a closet and there were four tiny screws to remove. In addition to keeping the appropriate screwdriver on hand, CR2032 batteries can be kept in stock as well. There have since been changes to the models to address It would be nice if there were an on/off switch to ensure that the bluetooth communicates when it is not necessary.
The bomb is dripping! I love the level mate pro because it makes leveling our 30ft RV so easy. I am nearly always able to get it Using LevelMate Pros in tandem with Anderson levelers allows us to achieve flat and level surfaces. When used together, these products allow RV leveling to be accomplished quickly and easily. I will do it even if I am This trick will do. My new favorite trick is to set the parking brake as soon as you reach Place the truck in park and the truck and RV will generally move away from being level as a result of the truck rolling. When the parking brake is set, the vehicle is "locked.
