Questions & Answers

It is aluminum and is rated at 6000lbs each. It comes with free two day shipping (prime), and it weighs 30 pounds per unit. My car needs these, so why shouldn't I get them?

The strength of these footrests is only 1/10th that of car jacks. When car jack stands are rated, the capacity is only for lifting that amount of weight off the ground when the wheels are shared, not when the wheels are completely lifted off the ground. These little things are only meant to transport perfect levels of loads. Even the slightest angle can cause your vehicle to slide off, or these tiny things to tumble down The failures of two reviews here are shown in pictures. Simply put, do not do that. Make sure you use jack stands that are suitable for your vehicle. The number of people who die every year while working under vehicles is far too high.

Can you tell me what the difference between these and car jack stands is? Is this something that can be used ?

The stands are not to be mistaken for car jacks These are cars that are held off the ground by vehicles (that do such a thing). Designed to level and stabilize a parked RV, these RV jack stands have wheels on the ground and are meant for use with tires. There is a big A stand that supports 6000 pounds (3 tons) cannot be rated at that weight. Light is reflected off of the base Designed to handle heavy duty use. The DP should not use this as a JSCK stand for cars.

Here are the things I see A standing desk was made by at least two people using these. This is what I want to say to them The desk seems to be stable, but is it? (How much weight did you lift?

The product was stable and I would purchase it again if I had the opportunity

Are the hex nuts on these jacks the same size as the ones on the actual I'm looking for a spare for something larger than 3/4" at Home Depot, but they don't carry it. ?

The following was reported on July 6, 2018 by Camco customer service 'I'm sorry but we do not sell that nut by itself. I'm sure you would like it.' M20 x 2 is the size of the nut. My sincere appreciation goes out to

In my camper, the bounce has been stopped
5/5

Quite a few of these came with my 8,000lb 36' travel trailer to stabilize it while camping, so I bought 8 (2 x 4 packs). Even with the electric stabilizing jacks on the camper, it doesn't seem to decrease bouncing or swaying caused by people walking around the area. The movement was even caused by my 10 year old daughter turning over in her bunk. We were able to solve the problem completely with this set of jacks. In the absence of a variety of moves, there were four on each side and equally spaced.

Another thing to be aware of is that these hang up to about 17", so please take that into consideration before you purchase. We live on a camper with a low frame (about 16" from the ground), so this wasn't a big deal for us, but a higher frame might be an issue. Because I didn't want to max out the screw, I cut a 12 foot 2x8 into 8 inch sections to fit the jacks on, and then that worked just fine. A stack of four or five of these blocks can easily be made to reach a certain In addition, some users pointed out that the screw in the jack was loose, which can be true, but make sure this screw is straight and you should be fine. The problem goes away once the pressure is applied to the jack downward. Using them for stabilizing shouldn't be a problem since you will only use them for stabilizing. Despite how sturdy these seem, I wouldn't use them to pick anything up It would be very beneficial, if you use this method the way I do, if you circle around your camper multiple times and turn each jack 1/2 turn each time. This will ensure even pressure on your frame and the jacks. When removing them, do the opposite so that the pressure is gradually released.

My intention is not to support a recreational vehicle while I work on it
3/5

These jacks will help support my RV while I do My reading of the directions stated specifically that they are not for the support of an RV when they arrived. There are even moulded instructions on the base of each jack that state "Not for RV Support". The problem is that there is no statement stating that the jacks are not intended for RV support in any of the online advertisements for them. As they have a rating of 6000 lbs per jack and four jacks per package, one would assume they are rated for 24,000 lbs. The unit I have only weighs 9000lbs, but after reading the directions I did not feel confident using it. Their online advertising should state "Not For RV Support. " The pots appear to be sturdy and durable, but "Not For RV Support" should be included.

In the extended position, the post is wobbly
4/5

The bags are okay for the price, and I like the fact that they pack into a very small space, but you should be aware that they are very small, and you are best suited to using them These are unlikely to last more than a year A stable structure will have a height of 13", and the remaining space will be filled with wood blocks or bricks. When they are extended even just a few inches taller, there will be plenty of play and your RV will still be fun. The amount is not as much as when just on wheels and shocks, but it is enough to be annoying. You might find it better to use larger, wider, and better jack stands, and even a couple of inches of adjustment is better than relying on wood blocks entirely, but if you don't know the limitations then you'll definitely be frustrated.

Though the best location for them was unlikely to be found on the first try
5/5

These stabilizers have been purchased to supplement the ones on my trailer. The shims made a significant difference once I leveled out my trailer after installing them. Though the best location for them was unlikely to be found on the first try. My first step was to place one in front of each axle wheel and one in the rear. Despite the rocking, it was still a bit choppy. As I moved them closer to each corner of the trailer frame, they got more visible. You've got it! It feels very stable when I'm towing my trailer. It should be noted that these are only for stabilizing purposes, and should not be used to lift There's even a noticeable warning right on every jack's frame.

I am basing my opinion on observations I have made
3/5

It is pretty much like the description, except, they do not come with a jam nut to use as a tension nut and do not come with any lock for securing the stands. Moreover, the nut that they do come with does not fit squarely within the recessed receiver portion of the base units. In addition, this could also affect their general sturdiness when I will now address my next concern, When you extend the rod to its maximum length, and when its end is flush with the collet in the base, just under the hex nut, then you achieve the overall maximum height of 17 inches. The jack stand does not have a safety stop or an indication of the maximum height, so if one is not careful, one could easily overextension the jack stand, causing it to become You know what I mean, don't you? This company seems to be well-qualified to get the job done, and it is They could only earn two and a half stars if I could give them that number, so I rounded up to the nearest whole number and gave them three stars. There are varying answers to the question of what the base dimensions are. There is no doubt that the base can be square and mine measures 6 1/16 x 6 1/16 x 6 1/16 inches. Using them is easy because they are simple to assemble and simple to use. I hope this bit of information can be useful to those who don't already know this, but there are still some people out there who don't. If you are supporting a load on the jack stands, then you should not attempt to adjust them. In order to ensure their safety and other obvious reasons, place them, adjust them to the desired height, and gently, carefully transfer some but not all of the weight of your load onto In the safety warning that came with mine, it says that Stack Jacks are not intended to support travel trailers. A stack jack is only intended to stabilize. There is a sign that says "Travel Trailer" but again, utilize some common sense especially if the load is extremely heavy or if there could be someone in or on the load causing a difference in its.

Their simplicity and effectiveness make them a good choice
5/5

We bought these so our camper could be stabilized. Despite blocking the wheels, we were still getting some pretty wild rocking forwards and backwards, so I decided to purchase It made the camper rock solid, and there was no need to install any hardware. We placed one at each corner of the frame (there were already stabilizer jacks at the back). Afterwards, the support comes out of the base, and the bases stack neatly so they don't take up a lot of My first impression was that the box consisted of four and that there were four in it The money spent was definitely worth it.
