When you don't have to level in increments of two inches, what should you do? If you only need to raise this product up by one and a half inches or three and a half inches, how can it adjust?

In that case, Alice, you may have to shim the levelers if you need to adjust in different increments than the boards you mount your kit on. Is this strong enough to support the weight of a Class A motorhome?

*br> I would like to thank you for your inquiry, Christie Graham. RV leveling systems such as the 08200 are intended to be used with RVs of all classes. In the case of 6 inches high, how can you use four 2 by 8's to make it?

You will only receive three boards with this set. There is no need for another set if you need more boards.

Four sets are required for the dually rear wheels on my class A truck. Are one or two boxes enough to make a Would these work with boards that are two by ten?

Thanks for your kind words, Tom. You have asked a good question. I appreciate your time. Kits are designed to go on one wheel only. It is okay to use a 2x10. The ramp ends, hardware, and plank should be attached to each other after you buy a 2"x10" plank and cut it to length. In general, a tire that has a tread width less than 10" will work. If the tire is wider, then you'll need a system that has a wider width. I failed to meet the mark
5/5

When most people reviewed this product, they missed the mark completely. I am sure anyone can cut wood and back their trailer on them without these plastic adapters. Do the boards remain in place while that process is being conducted? There is no such thing as a no-no. The goal isn't to make it look pretty or to create a polished solution, as a reviewer put it. When the engineers designed these, I am confident they did not take into consideration that. Its only purpose is to resolve two conditions that are extremely inconvenient. One is to create a ramp for the tires to drive up on, and another is to The idea is appealing to those who are already familiar with the issue of using boards as well as those looking for an alternative to crushing Considering the weight of the plastic parts, if you are one of the campers who hauls boards anyway, what is a few pieces of plastic.

The cost of using these is the same whether you buy them once or repeatedly
5/5

In order to prevent splinters and simplify cleaning, I used pressure treated wood, and then painted the boards with floor paint. These are heavier and take up more storage space than the plastic ones because they are heavier. On the plus side, these actually work, and they should be virtually They help keep themselves in place when parking because they are heavy. By attaching a black, wide strap to the tire, the tire will not push I tested the whole setup, and it worked. After driving right up on my first attempt, I managed to get a good grip on these!.

There is one long axle set for tandem axles
5/5

I really like this product. One long set was made for my tandem axle trailer to be used on one side. My platform for raising the axles is one platform when I need to raise one side, two boards when I need to raise another side, and three boards when I need to raise both axles at once.

For tandem trailers, this would seem like a good choice
5/5

This kit is a great idea, in my opinion. In addition to being a diyer, I'm learning to draw the line when it comes to tandem boards. I've seen my buddies try to lay boards on stacked 2 x 6's only to have upper boards fall Surely you can make these yourself, but at the end of the day, is it really worth it? The process of always trying to save a buck and to rush through a project has also taught me that it A ramp made entirely from wood would result in the pieces splitting along the grain if it were made entirely out of wood. It could also take hours to make a bunch of dado cuts and other repetitive Hopefully, making this kit will be a pleasure to do and save me a lot of time. As a side note, the "missing piece" is inside the chest. I had looked at the various kits on here and I decided this would be the most versatile because the rocker (Anderson) type was frequently snapping in half or shooting the A better option would also be to be able to chock the wheels on the raised side with a chock that doesn't move around on the board. A quick update I built the kit last night and it went very smoothly. My tandem wheels are quite heavy since they are designed for two people. As a result, it is easier for me to carry the handles on the two bottom boards and hold the top board in the other hand. I am still satisfied with my purchase. The bearings I repacked are ready to be tried out once I'm done. These slide right off when we try to pull them. Update 5/1/21
We do slip and slide quite a bit when doing so. My solution is to drive the pipe I use (1/2" rigid conduit to break off my tow bar hooks) behind the boards into the ground. The rest of their features are good, and they are easy to store.

A good and simple I was so happy to find that they do just what I had hoped! My husband had the bi-fold stand in front of our Sprinter rig while I positioned the bi-fold I had to use level yellow plastic ones that would skid along or kick out half the time
5/5

And they weren't always tall enough. A square Lego-style piece was placed on a round Lego-style piece One of our yellow ones broke, as well as one of the type ones under ours. I found these and thought they would make a better choice. The answer is yes! Look under one of the chocks for the "missing" piece that's stored inside, as others have mentioned. I found the directions to be straightforward. Our team got the wood, cut it according to the instructions, and put the green ends on it. I did not have to be a rocket scientist. Since they have the rubber skid piece underneath, they remain in place firmly. We have only so far used them once, and the top two pieces made the first attempt perfectly level. It's good to know we'll have the option to have all three, because there will be times when we will need them all. It is also possible to lift one corner more than the other, such as by using two on one side and three on the These are great. I'm delighted to get them. Due to space constraints, they had to be transported by tow car as we don't have room in our LTV to haul them. It is a bit difficult to transport them.

It had been pushed out of position by the tires
3/5

My attempt to use the system on a triple axle RV failed. As a result of the tires, it was pushed out of the way worse than before the ramps were Trying to hold it in place with my wife's foot was not able to work, neither was holding it in place with mine. Took the ramps off of the 2x8 leveling blocks, but they stayed in place once I removed them. The reason I bought these was so that a stack of two or three 2x8 leveling blocks would stay together on very uneven Unfortunately, I was unable to use even one block with the ramp because I did not have the right parts. There was a traction mat in the box, but I did not use it no matter where I put it. In the days that followed, I tried all sorts of things to get my trailer to go up the ramps after getting home from that camping trip. It has never happened to me that I was able to get a tire to go up the ramp and stay there. In every instance the ramp and block would keep sliding out of the way leaving me frustrated (and my wife laughing at my shortcomings from inside the house). In order to solve the problem with the blocks sliding away when the trailer is pulled up on them, I bought these ramps. Somehow they made the problem worse, for some reason that is unclear.
