Questions & Answers

Yellow ones are $12, so why are they so expensive. Does the brown one have 76 more than the brown one?

As of today, they are $12 for the brown ones. You've created 66 more than the yellow ones, can you see where you're at?

In order to prevent the RV tires from sinking into grassy sides, may this be used for storing it on a grassy side yard?

In most cases we distribute the load of a storage trailer using boards under the wheels and blocks under the crank. To compensate for differences in height, balance braces are used down. Based on what I can tell from the pictures, these blocks could be used for a base. It might sink a bit if the grassy yard at the side of the house is wet like

During the winter months, is it possible to use these to store my camper's tires off the ground so they don't freeze to the ?

All year round I have my tongue on these when it's cold out, even outside in the Northeastern USA during the offseason. We are still going strong after 5 years.

Two by two or four by two means what?

The 2X2 is for vehicles with only one rear wheel, whereas the 4X2 applies to vehicles with two These are extra wide, and I got the 4x2. It's best to call Camco customer service for more information.

A must have for any camper who doesn't have dual tires! As a replacement for the old 2x6 lumber I used to carry in my camper, I purchased these
4/5

Both the design and the use of these are much superior. The reason I used a 5X) rather than a 2X2 is that I could build steps linked together (longwise 2X2 exposed), allowing me Two 2X6's or two 2X2 leveling boards piled on top of each other usually cause the tires to "squirt" out from under them. There are some that do not. A precaution is that if you are on dirt, mud or gravel, I would recommend you place a plywood piece cut to 18"x9" beneath these to help stabilize them and prevent them from bending or bending under the weight due to uneven or soft.

This is an elegant solution
5/5

You should definitely try this out if you want to level up. It is important not to underestimate the amount of blocks that you will need. Typically you will be building a ramp that is at least ten blocks long. There's no need to overdo it with two sets. Camco blocks have been a staple of my trailers for years, and I have never had any problems with their ability to handle trailer weight or with sun or weather deteriorating them. There is nothing to complain about with this set - We designed our storage and portability systems to make it as versatile as possible. A brief update The trailer was set up for a 6 month lease on an accessible site, and I leveled the left side of the trailer with standard 10 block pyramids. Both the weathering and deformation of the blocks did not affect their performance. After bringing the trailer home, I set it up on the same block pyramid for six months. There is still no visible weathering on these blocks, and they look brand new after being washed.

This block is versatile and can be used for tire changes and leveling
5/5

There is a lot of versatility to these leveling blocks. As well as leveling our trailer at the camp site, the leveling blocks were a lifesaver when I had a flat tire. I made a riser out of them to pull the tire off the ground and was able to easily put on the spare tire. I didn't consider using a jack until we saw these, and they were so stable and easy to use. After getting the tire changed in no time flat (pardon the pun), things were good to go. These are on my list of must-haves!.

We regret to inform you that they haven't proved to be as durable as we thought
3/5

They did well with my first set, but I'm finding they are a lot more fragile than I thought they would be. When I drove the RV over soft ground with the last set I bought, they crumbled like sad corn chips because they aren't very resilient against hard surfaces. My brother literally said "cruuuuuunch".

Glad to hear from you
5/5

As I mentioned, I bought my first set since I preferred the handle / post idea much better than a bag. In commentaries, I noticed that many of the ones that had negative things to say did NOT have pictures displaying the yellow color. The yellow ones went into my cart, so I ordered them. My wife and I liked them so much that we ordered a second set to use under the tongue jack (rather than using wood or cement blocks). My experience with them has been very satisfying. After spending two weeks in the Florida sun in an RV lot, they were taken all the way to Michigan (with many stops along the way) and performed admirably. There is no difference in the weather from 90* in Florida to 50* in Michigan. My order has been placed for.

The tire area is barely large enough to accommodate dual Class C This is a very short dual for our Class C motorhomes
3/5

Their width is just enough to enable the treads to remain in place. It is imperative that you get the tires properly situated or your wheels will not be How much would it have cost for Camco to lengthen these by 1"? As for the others, I noticed that each tire sits on four squares, which I feel puts a lot of strain on the tire. Camco's solution is to sell a four piece set of leveling block filler caps that create The marketing was clever but a little sleazy. It is a good idea, but the greed of their corporate parent shows.

Class A duals have too narrow a field of view
3/5

It's certain that these won't work for our motor home if these are designed for dual rear wheels. There is simply not enough room for them. Five) and they are about two inches too narrow when placed perpendicular to the tire. I think these are a great idea in theory, but they don't live up to my wife's expectations in practice.

It's sad that the idea fell flat in practice too. Trying to level her with the many 3x12 wood blocks that I always carried was wearing her out.

The second set of music that I have made
4/5

To level my driveway, I use these. Since the front stabilizers have a slant, I will need a full set under each and a set under the jack, as well. The reason these are superior to the others for this purpose is that they have a simple screw to unscrew in order to use them, and no case to hold them. The 3 sets I have are the result of experimenting with different These are much more sturdy than solid ones but do not hold water, which makes them rust. These have holes to allow the water to drain, so they are equally useful in holding the stabilizing pads. I own another set of these that allows draining too, but doesn't hold up very well to the weight unless the pad is placed exactly in the middle of the I used them either under my 1100 lb tongue or under the stabilizers, and they did not deform under the loads I was putting on them. My Anderson levelers that I still have three sets of are what I use to level my wheels side to side since I do not use these under my wheels. However, due to the shape of these connectors, wheel chocks and flat covers will not work, but that is okay because I didn't need them to be functional.
