Caulk made from butyl rubber should be used instead of butyl tape. Despite being the most commonly used product in applications such as this, silicone caulking (not silicon) barely suffices as a method of sealing- Because it doesn't stick well to plastics, it can break if there's even a slight movement. It is better to use lexel even if you can't The things that were used were butyl tape, butyl rubber caulking, laxel, and urethane caulking. The quality of all these products is far superior to that of In addition to glass to plastic connections where movement is not possible, silicone is not useful for anything else.
Despite the absence of screws, it came with them. It wasn't necessary to send a tape, so it wasn't sent.
There is no need for this product for city water pressure valves. You can use it to gravity feed water into a tank of fresh water on top of venting it.

There is a yellowing of the leaves. In my RV, I replaced my old one with a yellowed one. The exterior of my home was updated when I bought this. Replacing all the old plastic parts with new ones. It has now been a year since the new one was installed and is already beginning to yellow. Despite my disappointment, I continue to work.
A typical RV gravity fill is, I suppose, like this. The fittings could be made longer, as that would be my suggestion for improvement. Two inches is barely enough to get through the After installing it, I had to remove it to attach the Do two times as much. Since I am not a professional, I cannot give you any advice.
Unlike the existing hose, which had a crimp connector that needed to be cut, the new version was pretty simple to install. Instead, I used a worm hose clamp made of stainless steel. Please re-read We used existing holes left by our crews.
This is mounted on the inside of my travel trailer so that I can fill it with the empty water bottles I keep there. I prefer this to carrying these 7 gallon bottles around to the external filling station. The installation went well and it seems to be.
The look and feel of this is very cheap. There seems to be a problem with the cap, as it doesn't seal well. In light of the superior quality of Valterra water tanks, I expected more from this gravity fill port. If I had it to do all over again, I would spend more money and look for more options.
Thanks to the fact that it was delivered directly to my front door, I am very pleased with the product and the price is hard to beat.
Most units have thick walls that make it difficult for it to be mounted properly and avoid leakage during filling. I found mine especially difficult because of the thickness of the walls.
I am glad I purchased this item as it looks great and was easy to install. On the opposite side of my sink inside of my camper van I have this. I like how clean and stealthy it is.
