My porch light on the side/top of my camper was hard wired to mine. There are no issues with only 12 volts. It's controlled by a switch on the inside of the camper for my porch light. I recommend getting two in-home consultations. To control yours with a 12vt lead, use line switches.
Very bright and ideal for my needs, excellent quality, simple to connect, but no. In the traditional sense, it cannot be dimmed. However, if the light is too harsh, cover the lens with a cutout of grey plastic. Grey plastic file folders (available at Staples) not only work well, but one provides enough plastic for you to add additional layers until you achieve the desired level of darkness. Duct tape in a light grey color would also work.

I was dissatisfied with it because it died shortly after the return window had closed, and I didn't want to waste time trying to get it replaced by the seller, so I purchased a different type from another seller, and I am very pleased with it. Leisure LED RV Exterior Porch Utility Light XL 12v 650 Lumen Lighting Fixture, Leisure LED RV Exterior Porch Utility Light, Leisure LED RV Exterior Porch Utility Light, Leisure LED RV Exterior Porch Utility Light, Leisure It has 100 fewer lumens than the other, but the light's surface area is larger and produces more light, as well as being less expensive and of higher quality. Because it had such a bright light for such a small aluminum housing, I believe the other one overheated. LEDs emit heat, but not in the same way that halogens or traditional bulbs do.

This light was used to illuminate the stove in our RV. Because we're boondocking and the microwave lights are 110 volts, it's much better to use a 12 volt light instead of turning on the inverter to light the stove. There was just the right amount of light in the room. It's a nice-looking light that's also simple to put together.
In a low-light RV park, there is more light, making it easier to locate our motorhome at night.
It's a pain to set up. It's very bright. However, as an RV porch light, it is not a direct replacement. I had to make my own mount bezel, but I'm very pleased with the results. br> br>There is no motion detection as well. I'm not sure why that question is asked in the review.
It works perfectly for my trailer's entry door. The light has a bluer hue than I would have preferred.
Our camping area was lit up by this light because it was so bright. It's a bright day.
I'm not pleased! While it lasted, it was an amazing light, very bright. I'd like to get a replacement, but the 90-day period has expired.
Replace the light near my RV's entrance.
Pleasant and cheerful.
