A person who weighs a lot can still stand on the step without fear of falling. My step does not know I'm on it because I weigh 200 lbs. was built very well, there was no feeling of shackling on the level ground. Am the father of an elderly man- Is used by my mother-in-law in order to get into my SUV my wife also has the device and it makes it easier for her to access it. There is a lot of solidity in it. It should be possible for her to walk on the platform with your assistance unless her feet measure more than 12 in long. More than 300 pounds can be accommodated in it. As a way of making sure it was sturdy and strong enough for my family to use, I attached a cement bag to the shoulder. Hopefully, this will be helpful to you in making your decision.
Since the steps are stored in the RV, I am not exactly sure of their height at the beginning. Although I know it is low to the ground, I don't know if it is In either case, the number 5 or 8 will do. A timer starts at the end of the interval, and Neither of our two small dogs is having any problems using it. My thoughts are with you regarding both your dog and the vehicle you are driving, but I am extremely pleased with how the steps are going.
For every leg, increments are by 1/2", which means each leg measures approximately 2" long.

Since we purchased the original step stool in June 2014, it has served us well for about four years. I really like the stool! A very sturdy panel, it is easy to set up and take down, and it's very Only one problem we found with the stool was on the corners, which is a rather significant flaw. In the event that you put too much weight on any one corner of the fixture that connects the leg to the platform, the welded point may buckle and cause the unit to fail. We had never had any issues with the stool before this one. Choosing a second stool is now in our purchase plans, and we will keep it in mind when we embark on our future activities. You'll love it!.
Our cargo trailer didn't include a step, so it doesn't have steps. What is the point of not doing it? As the under carriage steps corrode, they eventually fall apart and fall Those are design features, that's for sure. Having been advised not to order a step with our custom built aluminum trailer, we appreciate the dealer's advice. There does not seem to be a trailer out there that offers an aluminum step with aluminum rails to overcome corrosion concerns. My heart aches. Ordering a fold-out is as easy as ordering a pizza In the end, it was the same problem as all of the others with the up step attached to the under carriage. As a result, it gets welded onto the undercarriage (spendy) and is secured with steel rails (that corrode) eventually bringing us right back to zero. You should have this nifty little aluminum step in your collection! One step is big enough to fit underneath it, and it offers just enough height to get in and out of the trailer's side door without stumbling. There is individual adjustment that can be made for uneven terrain on all four legs. There is an anti-bacterial component to it We need to have skid treads for it so that we won't slip when we get out of the trailer. To store in a slim space, the legs can be tucked under the step. To help with the anti-skid properties, there are large rubber feet on the bottom The solution to the skid problem. It's much cheaper than installing a permanent step, so if we lose it or dent it, we won't cry because of its low cost. In the end, we just took our time to figure things I love it.
In our case, it was the right move to allow us to step into our motorhome and out of it With the adjustable step, even more flexibility is possible. The step is also very sturdy and stable. I am impressed with the condition of the step as it arrived as agreed. I like it!.
Stairs that are adjustable are better than those that are installed. I bought it after a failed attempt to install new two step stairs in my As it turns out, our bracket is just a bit wonky Since I didn't want to deal with angle grinders or welding, I went with a standard design. despite its size, this step is pretty sturdy and in fact very easy to maneuver. Having just begun RVing, we have lots of questions The last time we went on a trip, we learned a lesson. This step can adapt quickly to varied ground conditions since the state park campsites were gravel and very uneven from front to back and side to side. The adjustable legs make it easy to fix When I was installing stairs with two steps, the bottom step would not have been parallel to the floor and would have been approximately 3 inches off the As an added bonus, this step can also be used around camp to raise the clothesline a bit, assist in getting items on or off.
It was only a few weeks ago when I received this step, and on a recent long weekend, I had the opportunity to test it While some negative reviews claim that the legs are difficult to adjust, we find that they have a secure, locking mechanism and I can adjust the length at any time. My Class B motorhome has a relatively narrow step built in, so it is safer to get into and out while camping with a step that can be adjusted to match my step. The step appears to be extremely well made, and even if I abuse it it should last a long time. It is very easy to level the machine according to the terrain since the adjustments are very limited. up very compactly, which is vital for a Class B that is small and confined to a small This is overall an excellent product that seems like it will be useful for many years to come.
After owning this step for about 8 months, it is well made and works well, however, one of its rubber wheels broke off and long lost and CAMCO does not permit replacement parts for this step and the Stromberg-Carlson rubber wheels will not fit the Camco wheels. Thus, if you have to replace a rubber foot, you are out of luck, Two hundred and fifty) had steps that needed to be updated!.
There is no doubt that this is very well made, meaning that it should last a very long time. The purchase was a very pleasant experience even though it was a little more expensive than some of the others. It is important to me that nobody ever gets hurt stepping from my trailer, and I do not anticipate that this step will cause anyone any problems. While using the cheaper steps, some of them break and collapse. There's no doubt that this is a very sturdy one. This is the latest update The only two trips I took this camping I did not need it. Upon my third trip, I noticed that the pins weren't lined up properly and had the potential to fold under when someone steps on them. One of the pins may break into the leg if left in place, so I decided to leave it in place, but one of the pins is working its way into the leg. It appears that I missed the return window for this item, so I cannot return it. When I find out what the manufacturer plans to do, I will update this post again. I will contact the manufacturer and see if they will stand behind their product.
haven't yet used a step such as this. When you remove the feet, you can manipulate the nibs to the side by using a long nose plier. After you adjust the height, slide the nib back into the hole. This is much easier than prying the nibs down into the hole and working your grasp. There is a pain associated with this step, but we have to take it. Another idea that may work. I'll let you know if it does. There is hope that the manufacturer takes notice.
