Unless you know how to do it yourself, they don't give you instructions for electric awnings since they're all different by brand. I changed my fabric on 6/6/2020 and it was easy, but you have to do your home work. Torsion springs are still a part of electric toys because they are electric, and they have torsion springs. I found it was in the end without the motor on my Domestic, by simply taking it out you will have no trouble. It turns out you have to take off both ends to rewind the spring, and I learned the hard way how many rotations you have to make clockwise. Hope you have a good day
My roll up cover does not have this feature

Awning has ripped since May 11, 2019. Bought it around May 11 2019. ShadePro arranged for purchase and return of this product, which is covered by a 5 year warranty. I've emailed ShadePro the images to see if they can help. No problems were encountered during the replacement of the ShadePro product.

We took it off and it seemed to be a good quality fabric, at least two or three times thicker than what we took on. Shade Pro sold me a bix before I'd opened it, so I can't comment on its quality. Our original awning and frame were destroyed in a flash of wind before I'd opened it.
