The camper door fits inside the frame after it is closed, but I have not measured it
It's not clear to me what the mechanical mechanism of your door is. In my case, when you open the screen door from the outside, it stays closed. The front screen door and the entry door are both opened from the inside when you open from the outside.
My latch was not bi-directional. I am sure you know this, but I do not believe it was In a direction. I think most latches on these types of doors are pretty universal. If they look right, they Depending on where the existing screw holes are, you might not be able to use them.
In fact, it fitted perfectly into my camper.

replacement latch handle installed in place of the original one, and had a hole that ran through the pivot point of the latch handle. I am now able to turn the handle after I ran a screw through it. Solid, you can be sure this will last for a long time!.

The only reason why I gave it three stars was because it had to be modified for A portion of the handle locks onto the outside door and a piece of the receiver is designed as a slot instead of a pyramid. Hence, when you close either the outside or the slotted striker plate of the door from the outside, the screen door is locked to both. Otherwise, you won't be able to open the main door from the Thanks to my wife being inside, I was able to try In order for it to work on a motorhome, the receiver needs to be filed down.

It is good quality. Unlike the original in my Aljo Lite trailer, this product is solid and a better option. The only downside is that it has larger holes than the OEM version, so I would have to drill additional holes and replace all three If only the latch itself could be replaced, that would be great. Attempting to install the new one isn't going to be as easy as repairing the broken spring in my original.

My latch just went in The camper's layout was exactly what was on it. It will take time to see how long it lasts, but I think it's the best value out there!.

Not only had we come back to our camper to find it had a broken handle lying on the door base but it had also failed to come with a complete set of handles. The previous handle of our screen door had to be replaced, but this was only a replacement for the exterior part. There was no interior part included in this set, so we still had to have the slide slid open from the outside so the door could be opened from inside.

Delivery was fast, but I thought it was made of metal first, plastic won't last as long, which is why I had to replace it in the first place.

It's a nice screen door lock and it works well.

The outcome was what we expected.
