Along with this purchase I also received a great slide cover. The fit was good and I did not mind using double-sided tape to attach it, though the provided tape was inferior, so you might want to get some good quality 3M tape instead. I was primarily concerned about the texture on the wrong side of the mold, almost as if the plastic were placed upside down in the mold. A similar texture appeared on the CAMCO slide cover, however it was on the inside, so when the slide cover was shut, it was obscured. As for the outside, it is smooth, so it fits exactly the same as a Apart from that, it was a cheap refurbishment to improve the appearance of the door after a damaged cover was replaced.
First, they do not fit completely on the sliding cover and leave a gap on the bottom or top no matter where you place them. Second, the two way tape is a joke, barely holding in place. Although the overall length is 12", the part that is supposed to fill in the gap of the sliding piece is not the correct This design is the same for all of them that I have ordered from other places. As a result, it is a design defect. There is no point in buying regardless of how great the deal is since it won't fit properly.
The mounting is cheesy, but for the price, a good drill hole and rivit is better than sticky stripes that can be difficult to secure.
Item does not look like the picture and does not attach to screen door with screws as it does with the original product, it attaches with adhesive.
A few screws were added to make installation easier.
The pants fit well.
