Is it possible to hook up both alternators of a twin-engine boat to the same isolation device?

A twin engine wouldn't be an ideal candidate for this product. Isolators with 2 alternator inputs and 3 battery outputs are made by them.

This isolator is suitable for use with computer controlled alternators, right? Voltage drops of a few volts are not important. ?

It uses a diode to prevent battery voltage from transferring to the amplifier - basically, it prevents the battery voltage from transferring... You will not be able to tell that your alt is being controlled by the A full battery voltage will still be shown by Alt.

Despite several hours spent connecting these batteries to my isolator, I was unable to get it to work. Even worse, when I asked for help with my tech, there was no one to answer my call It was not possible to contact support or technical assistance I was unable to get support. They could not assist me. The call was just an answering service for DB Electric. DB Electric does not provide technical assistance with You can't sell a product if it doesn't have a manual or user guide I have thrown away $130 on support. This three battery isolator was a complete dud and I strongly advise you to get a third party product.
