Knockouts are not like this, they are more like bumps that are molded into the metal, and you must use a knockout punch to get it going. Once you open the box, one finds a sheet of paper stating that these are not knockouts. The description seems to be misleading to me. Since I am an electrician, I have the tools to fix the problem, but I think Amazon and the seller need to be a little more upfront, since most homeowners are not equipped to deal with this.

In addition to RV power outlets, I also installed an electrical outlet at a mobile home. My skill level is DIY and I am not an electrician, but I deeply regretted this purchase when we had to set it up. There are three problems with the design I. A. 1. On the bottom, the knockouts don't look like real knockouts. They're more like stampings. In order to open these, a knockout tool kit will need to be used. It's a no-win situation if you do not own one. A difference between this and other RV power outlet boxes or most outdoor power boxes in the US is that this is a USB power outlet. You can easily knock out knockouts. In our case, we were doing the job on a weekend and did not have a knockout kit, so we needed to use various drill bits, and even a "beaver bit" to get the holes big enough for the pipe. As a result, it was a long-lasting nightmare that might have been avoided if the manufacturer had put the real knockouts into the can from the start. In this context, I mean the kinds of knockouts you can open with a hammer and big * B 2. A very, very tiny metric screw is used to secure the faceplate onto the machine. The screws used by other manufacturers are usually standard sheet metal screws. Getting rid of this tiny little screw now or in the future will mean the end of the game. There will be no way to attach the face plate. I don't understand why this was done. The third paragraph. As the mounting holes on the back of the box do not align with a standard treated wood post used for RV outlets in the US, this box cannot be used as a hook up for the outlet. It's hard to drill through the steel of the box (which is a plus of the design), but you shouldn't have to, since the steel is so thick. In the case of a 4X4 post you would have to drill new holes otherwise, you would have to use a 4X6 or 6x6 instead, which is much more convenient. This box would be more useful if more mounting holes were added to the rear, or if the mounting holes were spread out more evenly. Our only option was to use screws that were installed at an angle because of this design defect. The rule of three strikes (design defects) tells you when not to come back. The only thing I would've done differently would have been to return this to Amazon and buy a different brand, if this weren't a rush weekend project.

The drill should not be extended. Though the metal is heavy, the fabrication is of poor quality. All the aluminum rivets holding the door open are cheap. This product is already broken. There is a problem with the screws holding the plug to the cabinet, and they will strip and pop it There was no value in it at all!.

Weatherproof and sturdy, the box can withstand any weather conditions. One con is that knocking out the half inch is difficult and you usually end up knocking out the outer one, which makes it a one inch. playing knock out for a while, but the way the game is designed makes it quite challenging to knock out the half. 2. If you have a rivet gun, have it ready to go. As noted in Prior reviews, the screw on the side that holds the door will fall off with every opening and closing. My company has not contacted me though I have just put a rivet on it and it has worked great.

I have never encountered such a mess on a PC. If trying to install the lid, there is no way to latch it open. During the installation, they were constantly in the way. It is NOT protected from the weather by a lid because its completely open bottom does not overlap the lid. Make sure the screws in the back are Knockouts are NOT to be taken seriously. It is difficult to cut through steel hole punches even if you use them.

This is the knockout pre-game You were not knocked out with just one punch. When I tried to open one, I bent the box out of shape. This box is going back to you. Control of the quality was inadequate. A drill would have to be used otherwise. I could get one from somewhere else.
