When have you been taken down a road you shouldn't have been on, or suggested you go down it What if you put in your height, length, etc? This one doesn't allow you to put that in. In the past two years, we have tried to input numerous destinations in order to ensure it wouldn't take us down unsafe roads and low bridges, through driveways and walls, or into a loop, as we experienced with another. Compared to some website routings, this one even beats them. That's why we like it so much. This GPS will still be checked against maps, but we have confidence in it. Taking a closer look at the camera, lane departure, and collision avoidance for the next time we use it will be interesting. Getting the phone's software to launch was the only issue we encountered. In response, we contacted Garmin and sent them a picture of the screen that wasn't working. said that we should reduce the font size because the EULA was hard to read. I got it working after that. You are able to make and receive calls hands-free. You can also use the phone to access your contact list. It is great to have a magnet mount. To set it on the dashboard, we are using a sandbag from the car Garmin. Because it has traffic, you'll also need the cord that comes with it since that is what it needs to run.

Garmin RV-70 has been in my possession for quite some time Despite having had the 785 less than a week, and without yet taking it on any long journeys (my first one happens in a few days), I wanted to talk about some initial impressions after using it around town and testing the navigation features, as well as its The upcoming trip to the United States will be planned in part with BaseCamp, and I will tell you a bit about that experience I. My primary reason for purchasing this model is the dash cam, but it isn't as good as I would have liked. It's disappointing that its viewing angle is relatively narrow when compared with other dedicated dash cams on the market, although it'll likely be fine for most users. What is even more troubling about the camera is what's called "jello effect," which is extremely apparent The suction cup windshield mount that came with the device has a magnetic attachment so I don't really see how it could be mounted any more firmly to reduce the effect. The video also has a brief break of possibly a frame or two every minute or two. No test of the camera has been done under low light conditions or while driving at night. 1. 2. 3. The forward collision warnings and lane departure warnings work, although they don't operate following a dashed line or when the road is curved (at least as far as I've been able to tell). In most RVs, the windshield mount is quite far for the driver. It is designed specifically for RVs, but it ships only with a windshield mount. This means you have to purchase a different mount if you want it to work.

It should have a bigger I received a replacement for my screen and the display is much better even though the model number is the same. When one of the first two did not respond to a voice command to come up, sometimes When the faster mode was selected, it displayed outrageously long and awkward routes It is strange to follow a straight line at 15 mph and then to turn at the same speed I was not able to touch or input anything and the screen would change to statistics or post sidebar information without my input. It's a new one, so I hope it behaves well before the return date comes around. I need to learn a lot about new screens Sometimes the interface is not very user friendly or the intent is not obvious. Two of the tabs are located in different places in the second one as compared to the first. The learning process of so many new options and how to adjust them is quite time-consuming. This campground map feature is awesome, along with the up ahead feature.
