Product Description

The cord is made from pure copper and is designed with an STW male plug and female receptacle. It is rated at 50A, 30 feet max rate, and will deliver 6250 Watts (125V) / 12500 Watts (250V).

Quality standards that are more stringent. UL-listed, pure copper wiring with polyvinyl chloride that is flame retardant, temperature resistant, UV resistant, rain and wind resistant, as well as soil and rock resistant.

Each end of the cable has ergonomic grip handles to ensure a safe and easy connection and withdrawal of the cable.

An NEMA 14-50 plug 50 Amp extension cord is suitable for charging Level 2 EVs such as a Tesla Model 3 or Model S, Model X or Model Y as well as 50 Amp campers and generators.

Upon completion of use, the kit includes a lovely storage bag and adjustable cord organizer, which makes it easy to transport and store.

Is it possible to put two of these together, then plug them into the electrical outlet of ?

Yes, you can add two to each other. Figure out the voltage drop for 80' of cable based on the wire size and the current.

The cord is pliable in cold weather, isn't it?

As much as the hard rubber on an average extension cord and heavy duty, I'd expect it to bend and flex in the snow as well

Exactly why is it called an "extension cord?" This sounds like I could use it just perfectly to connect my Generator to my home using its twist lock. ?

It would be best to order a different cord because the cord organizer handle wasn't included in the package. The biggest pet peeve I have is when an item does not match what was.

Definitely a great extension cord. It's well designed and of heavy construction, exactly what I needed. Keep in mind it's an extension cord, so it won't plug into an RV. As such, neither end is round, but overall, it's a great cord.
