Questions & Answers
Yes, this product is suitable for flat metal roofing, but it is not suitable for asphalt roofing repairs.
I wouldn't put it on something you'll want to take off later! If you need to keep something in place, what should you do? Blue painter's tape is a good choice.
I'm not sure how it'll fare if it's submerged for an extended period of time. However, you are also attempting to prevent air from exiting. Sorry, I have no idea.
My hole was visible after I drilled it. I screwed it into place. To seal it, I believe you'll need to repress.

I gave it a three-star rating because there hasn't been enough time to assess the true long-term performance. This is what I used to repair a cracked PVC drain pipe. The pipe was located in a location where it would be costly to replace it. I was able to repair the cracked area using the tape. I am optimistic that it will work well in the long run because it has been in place for two weeks without incident. I'd give it a higher rating if it could withstand some heavy downpours (which we haven't yet).
The problem was solved after using the tape to seal the seam. br>It's something I'd recommend.
I spent a lot of money on this tape in the hopes of covering an inch-by-inch area. long scrape on a water-leaking hose that was very sturdy On both sides, I used this tape to cover the hose a foot beyond the scrape. Of course, the scrape itself is well covered. My hose, on the other hand, continues to leak. Quite a bit of it, in fact. I didn't even use the hose for a full 24 hours after applying the tape in the hopes of the glue curing. I had wiped the hose to tape area clean before applying the tape. It was a spotless surface. I had high hopes, but alas, they were dashed!! A HOSE LEAK WILL NOT BE HELPED WITH THIS TAPE. A HOSE LEAK WILL NOT BE STOPPED BY IT! I would recommend continuing your search for waterproof tape that will stop a hose leak, because this is NOT IT! I'm hoping for a refund! This tape is completely useless! I wish there was a way for me to give a Negative 5 stars.
In my cabin, I've tried a variety of insulation methods to seal up drafty doors, cracks, and other leaks. Because the door frames are slightly off kilter, there are tiny gaps when you close the exterior door (even with good weather stripping). Some of this was used by me. Small strips were cut and used to line the inside of the door frame. It was an excellent solution. I was able to close that tiny gap. Aside from the one listed, I've used it for a variety of other things. It has good adhesion and a small square pattern on which you can cut a very straight line. Gutter leaks have been repaired by me. This is something I really enjoy.
This is an excellent stick. It's ideal for odd jobs that require a lot of water resistance. The appearance of the tape wheel is unremarkable. Repositioning and ability to reposition are strong. After being installed, it performs admirably in terms of creating a water barrier. It's a little awkward to store because it's best stored vertically. However, you must rotate it every now and then. Storing it on its side isn't ideal. This method easily picks up dirt while also leaving adhesive residue.
It's fantastic! Even with all of the flexible caulk we used on an overlapping aluminum roof, water managed to get in. The butyl layer on this tape is thick and should last for years. I was sold on it because of the aluminum and UV protection. It was neatly rolled on, pressed down, and completely sealed. Much easier than purchasing a tube or tube of butyl'mud' for use in RVs. Purchase a small roll and keep it in your emergency kit; it'll come in handy!.
