If the temperature is below 55 degrees, we don't recommend applying. There will be no harm done, but application and removal may become much more difficult.
On my 24' class C RV, I believe I use about one 32 ounce bottle or nearly two 16 ounce bottles.
It's the first time I've ever used it on aluminum siding. It works wonders on fiberglass, which is exactly what it's designed for.
You could, but it's unlikely to perform as well as Flitz metal polish, which is designed for steel. Vic

My 38-foot quad slide 5-er was in desperate need of assistance. It hasn't been waxed or washed in 13 years, according to my knowledge. The epdm roof had to be replaced because it had become damaged. The gel coat became rough and pasty after years of the epdm roof sluffing off and running down the sides of the RV. It was in desperate need of a little tender loving care. I tried to use this wax, but it was simply not up to the task of cleaning off 13 years of abuse. After speaking with some detailers, they recommended Meguires D- 151 cream for restoration. I was finally able to cut through the haze and get down to the restored gel coat after 40 hours of using the D151 and a DeWalt buffer with a wool pad on slow. Then I used this wax to add a final layer of protection. I applied it by hand and used a new wool pad on high to buff it off. What a stark contrast! The trailer appears to be brand new, with the exception of the decals, which have been checked, but the vast expanse of gel coat appears to be flawless, and this wax was the finishing touch. I even smeared this wax over the checked and discolored vinyl decals, which resulted in a darker, more even finish. This is the real deal! Now I'm getting compliments on how nice my rig looks, and they can't believe it's 13 years old when I tell them. To finish it off, I used the D151 and some wax. Finally, I ordered some turtle wax plastic restorer and applied it to any rubber or faded plastic parts, such as wheel skirts, tires, and the vinyl inserts on the transition strips, as a finishing touch. This trailer has never looked better than it does right now, in my opinion. I was so taken with its outward appearance that I installed a new hardwood floor in the kitchen, completely remodeled the bath, and installed a new residential refrigerator in stainless steel, which necessitated the purchase of a new stainless microwave, as well as removing the stove and replacing it with a new drawer dishwasher in stainless steel, and replacing the gas cooktop with an inductive cooktop. Because the counters in this trailer were corean, I had one made to match the existing counters and installed it where the stove was. Because the inductive cooktop is portable, I've gained additional counter space when not in use. It's the equivalent of owning a brand new RV for the price of four payments on a new RV. I'm in a great mood!.
That is not the case with Meguiar's. I followed the instructions and used a 7" variable speed buffer to achieve the desired results. I was able to buff out any scuffs on the dock. marks. My 14-year-old boat now looks and feels like new after using it in conjunction with the 49 oxidation remover. Hull is spotless and feels as if it were made of glass. br>br>I applied a squiggly line of wax along the hull with the bottle, then worked it in with the buffer until it was a dry haze. My 12-year-old neighbor's son was trailing behind me, wiping everything down to a shine. With far less effort than the previous wax I was using, I was able to achieve outstanding results. I was able to get my 20' center console in and out (it's on a trailer) with plenty of product left over in both containers. From now on, it'll be a regular part of my spring commissioning!.
I started with the one-step compound and removed the heavy oxidation. I then followed up with this, which, I must say, worked. It was much more effective than the Premium Cleaner Wax at cleaning and leaving a good finish. This is now on my checklist for every 60 days in the Texas sun in my RV. Wow, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW I drove a 36-foot RV all the way around in about ten hours, including stops for water and to rest my tired back. It's great stuff, and I've made it my go-to cleaner wax. It was also very effective on my truck.
My used boat had terrible oxidation on a matron color, so despite a futile attempt to use car polish and wax, it still looked awful, and the oxidation kept leaching up through the wax. I finally gave it a shot, and after three attempts, I was able to get it to This stuff was amazing! I used 5 coats and worked in 2 foot sections at a time. I was amazed at how quickly the oxidation was removed. I continued to buff the last coat with a round electric buffer after removing all of the oxidation by hand. In the future, I will only use this wax. It restored the appearance of my 23-year-old paint. Gel coats are not the same as clear coats, and the difference in how this wax works is noticeable.
You read reviews all the time and wonder if they're true. In July 2016, I purchased a 2015 year model RV that had light oxidation and water marks from the roof because it had not been kept under any type of coverage. I was hesitant at first, but since it stated that it was for RVs, I decided to give it a try. This is a fantastic system. I should say that the oxidation spots and water marks require a little more scrubbing or wiping, but this stuff really works. If your unit has a lot of oxidation, you'll have to disassemble it and go through a three-step process to clean it. This is an excellent purchase for light oxidation and streaks. Allow 2 hours to dry after wiping on. After 3 minutes, wipe away the residue. It doesn't streak or leave a residue on the trim or plastics, and it washes off easily. For the hot summers in Texas, this is excellent protection. Good buy!.
I polished it up and got rid of the water spots and streaks. When combined with an orbital buffer, this method is called orbital buffering.
