It's a high-quality liquid rubber sealant that lasts for years while sealing and protecting.
Rubber roof coating is now standard on most RVs, but specifications should be checked in your owner's manual. If you don't have your manual, you can look it up online. When it comes to gathering information, RV dealers are frequently helpful.
My roof was about half-black, and two coats applied two days apart seemed to do the trick. I'm going to check it out next year and see if I can stay ahead of it.

For a 35' class A, we used two gallons. Prior to painting, I scuffed the roof with tide powder and hot water, then used a brush to trim in the edges, applying two coats to the trim. The first and second main coats were then spilled and rolled out. The first time I went up there after letting it cure, I had to squint because it was so bright and white; however, while doing the roof, I noticed an issue with a skylight and had to go back and replace it. Over the dicor sealant, this stuff hardened into a thick film. To get the skylight out, I literally had to cut it out with a razor. I'm hoping it stands the test of time - It's looking great so far.
According to the weather forecast, there would be three or more days of clear skies and sunshine in the days leading up to the wedding. The season of autumn has arrived. Our 9-year-old EPDM 28-foot rubber hose was cleaned. Using a soft bristle brush, paint the roof of your travel trailer with Simple Green. After placing the trailer in an open field away from trees, it was thoroughly rinsed and allowed to dry overnight. I inspected the roof for any potential leaks and used two coats of HENG'S to trim out all the edges and top-mounted vents, A/C, and other items. My wife (who is more agile and lighter than me) used a medium nap roller to apply three coats of HENG'S Rubber Roof Coating over the next two days while I continued to trim out the travel trailer roof edges. I'm pleased with the initial results, which appear to be better than new. HENG'S application filled in all of the spider cracks that had appeared as a result of miles of smiling. Approximately 1 To complete our 3-step process, we'll need 3/4 gallon of water. day task. Will re-evaluate in about a year to see how long the product lasts; so far, I'm very pleased with the results!.
My fifthwheel RV is 40 feet long and has two slides. I used almost 2 and a half gallons of this stuff to lay down two thick coats. All of the small holes and cracks on my vent seals (lap sealant areas) were filled with this liquid. It does not have a high gloss finish, but it is thick and dries quickly, and I would recommend it to anyone. I ordered 4 gallons in total, and I intend to use the rest in the future, one coat at a time, until I run out. My previous coat, which was from a different brand, lasted for about 5 years. I began to notice some fading six years ago.
This roof sealer was incredibly simple to use and made a significant difference in the appearance of our RV's roof. My fifth wheel is 31 feet long, and we used almost two gallons of gas. We used two coats, and I'm very happy with the results. We scrubbed the roof with a medium bristle scrub brush I got from Lowes after washing it thoroughly with soap and water. And there was no need to apply any pressure; just regular scrubbing sufficed. Then, when the sun came out the next day, I went up and removed all of the covers from the vents and air conditioner. Then I painted the trim work in two coats and then rolled the entire roof with a paint roller. Just a heads up, don't wear your shoes when applying the second coat to the roof because it will leave dark marks on the white roof coating you just finished; I did it in my socks and it was simple. It took about 5-hours to dry and apply two coats of paint to the roof and trim. My roof was like new again after 6 hours. I'd buy it again if I needed something similar. Before you begin the roof coating, make sure you seal everything with lap seal.
I used to buy quarts and brush them on the seams and putty areas, but this year I rolled it all over the roof (after a thorough cleaning). The end result is obvious; it looks great, and I'm confident that no moisture has gotten in. It's simple to apply; just don't do it late in the day if there's a chance of heavy dew. On a 30-foot RV, two coats took one hour. 5 gallons total My shipper, on the other hand, needed to pack it much better! The box was excessively large and flimsy, with insufficient void filler to protect the cans. It's a miracle none of them were punctured.
It worked as it should have. My 32' travel trailer and slide top received two coats of paint from two cans. It's been 4 hours since I finished the job, and it's dry, but the instructions say it needs to cure for 24 hours. So there you have it. On our upcoming three-week trip, we'll see how it holds up. I haven't had any leaks in the past, so I'm not expecting any this time. Before we left, we just wanted to be sure. If there is a problem with longevity, I will provide an update. br>It was a little on the pricey side, but products with similar reputations and contents are priced similarly.
I was about to give up when I came across some VERY expensive products. Then I came across this and decided to take a chance after reading some reviews. I went easy on the edges and around the air conditioners, etc. , using a cheap roller cover and a throwaway brush. It took me a while to get it off my hands, so wear gloves. The coverage was exactly as described (for my 41 foot 5th wheel, it took about a gallon and a half to cover the roof). It had become darkened and stained, and as you can see in the photo, it is now white, possibly whiter than new. Couldn't be more pleased! Let's see how it holds up now!.
Over the patches I had to make, the first coat was a little thin. The second coat looked fantastic and completely covered all of the thin spots. The roof was too hot on the first day, and I had to work quickly because it dried quickly, so I started earlier the next day. I had found videos to watch, followed their instructions exactly, and the results were identical to the videos. I'm glad I walked in with socks on and then threw them away.
